Hello, I am Joni Waters. Last Saturday, July 28, at 5 pm, I had Newman's Own Pineapple salsa with chips. While chewing, I encountered a hard metallic object on the right side of my mouth, near a metal crown. I felt it move to the left side prompting me to realize I should not swallow and coughed it out. It was revealed to be an open staple. The next morning, July 29, I documented the incident and contacted the store where I bought the salsa. They will contact quality control while I pursue compensation from Newman's Own. I kept the salsa jar as evidence and only consumed a small amount before this incident. Realizing the danger, I coughed out the object, identifying it as an open staple. I took photos of the jar, preserved the staple, and stored it in the fridge. Visiting the store where I bought the salsa, the manager and I discussed the incident. They agreed to contact quality control, so I left my details for further action and plan to contact Newman's Own for compensation. I have been a long-time supporter of your company and products. Recently, I encountered an issue with 'Fig Newman's' that left me feeling very disappointed. The packaging led me to believe the product was wheat-free, but the gluten-free information was in very fine print, causing confusion. Due to my weakened immune system and inflammatory condition, it is crucial for me to strictly avoid gluten. After unknowingly consuming gluten through this product for the past few months, I experienced a rapid decline in health. Upon discovering the cause, I have since been working on restoring my health without unnecessary inflammation. I kindly request clearer labeling to prevent confusion in the future. While I am unsure about personal compensation, reimbursement for the multiple purchases of this product over the last few months (approximately 5 times) would be a gesture of goodwill. It may not fully compensate for the challenges I faced, but it would help rebuild my trust in your company going forward.

I am contacting you regarding the products my family purchases from our local food coop. I have some concerns and would appreciate some information:
- Do your products contain plasticizers or other plastics?
- Are fresh foods treated with plasticizers before being frozen or canned?
- Where do your products come from? I am interested in the country of origin, region within the country, level of industrialization, and chemical usage on nearby farms.
- Do you conduct testing for contaminants in your produce or do you solely rely on the National Organic Program?
- Does your brand belong to a larger corporation? If yes, which one?
- What is the quality of the water where your products are cultivated?
- Do your products contain GMOs or glyphosate?

I would like to inquire if your organic extra virgin olive oil has been tested for glyphosate, as it has been found in some organic products. Recently, I received a text message from Newman's Own regarding this matter. They proposed two solutions: one being that you test the olive oil for glyphosate, and the other suggesting I return the bottle to the store. I find it concerning to have to provide input on such a crucial issue.

Last week, I purchased my first Newman's Own pizza, a Supreme flavor. While it tasted good, I was disappointed by the lack of sausage compared to what was depicted on the package. The box showed 18 large sausage pieces per half of the pizza, indicating around 36 pieces for the whole pizza. Unfortunately, the actual pizza only had 11 small sausage pieces. I still have the box for reference.
I am requesting a coupon for the same pizza to give it another try. It would be helpful if contact information, such as a phone number or email, were included on the box. I have tried searching online, but the listed sites seemed insecure, making it challenging to reach out without risking my computer's security.
