I worked as a Mental Health Therapy Aide at Creedmoor since [redacted]. I got injured and was on Workers Comp. In October [redacted], I received a termination letter. My union mentioned they couldn't terminate me until two years after my attack by a patient. Surprisingly, I was informed I wasn't eligible for Cobra benefits. Being a tier 4 employee who bought back time from earlier employment, I am puzzled. Human resources and the union have been unresponsive despite requests for help and grievances. I pay union fees for dental and eye care despite losing health benefits. I urgently need assistance, even though I have SSD approval for my injuries, I face other health issues from work. It's disheartening how Creedmoor treats employees, and the union's lack of support is concerning. I seek reinstatement for medical coverage and hope for an investigation into Creedmoor's unjust policies. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have a question about civil service status expiration. I was originally hired from a valid civil service list and retired from a local police department. Upon retirement, I transitioned to working part-time in another police department. Subsequently, I was hired by the Sheriff's Department. However, Greene County Civil Service asserts that my state civil service status has expired. Although my police certification remains current and valid, this discrepancy has arisen. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter.
