I recently received a letter from USAA requesting that I update my address with NFS through a notarized letter. This requirement came shortly after USAA discontinued their investment services. I am in search of an online or over-the-phone alternative for this process, as I understand that other USAA members have used such options in the past. I would appreciate guidance on the necessary steps and phone numbers to address this matter. Obtaining a notarized letter during the COVID pandemic presents challenges, and I hope to find a more convenient solution.

After processing a buy order using "cash available for trade", I quickly sold the position, only to be flagged by Fidelity for selling before the settlement payment was received. This has happened twice now under the same circumstances, with the threat of my account being locked if it occurs again.
I believe Fidelity needs to address the internal flagging issue, especially when dealing with in-house transfers like cash settlements. The three-day settlement regulation was created for external clearing events long ago, not for internal transfers. In my case, the settlement was received on the day of the trade, with all necessary information available, including fees.
The regulation does not apply when money moves internally within the same institution. In both instances, the transaction settled on the day of the trade, with the money transferred automatically. The sale order was also approved the next business day within Fidelity's trade window.
I request the removal of the flags from my account and urge Fidelity to adjust its software to avoid flagging such transactions that are approved through the trade window. The necessary cash or position availability within the account should signify approval. Thank you.

As a Non-Profit organization, we have received a check from National Financial Services LLC which we are unable to identify the donor for. I am looking to speak with a representative who can assist me in identifying this donation. The check number is [redacted]73, dated 2.9.21. I am anticipating a phone call at [redacted] or an email directly from National Financial with the necessary information. Thank you.

I recently received a notice from the IRS (Notice CP3219A) indicating a proposed increase in my taxable income for [redacted]. The notice claims I had taxable retirement income of $27,[redacted], allegedly reported by National Financial Services. However, this information is inaccurate as I have not been employed since [redacted] and have had no income. Despite my efforts to verify the source of this erroneous data with National Financial Services, I have encountered numerous obstacles. I have been misdirected to Fidelity Investments and Vanguard, both of which I have never been affiliated with. After extensive calls and being given the runaround, I was instructed to contact the Deconverted Department at NSF but have been unsuccessful due to full voicemail boxes and unreturned calls. My attempts to reach the IRS and the Local Taxpayer Advocate office have also been futile due to Covid-related delays. I am feeling extremely frustrated and at a loss for how to resolve this issue.

I am looking to open a beneficiary IRA for an entity, specifically a university in Kentucky subject to the Ky. Open Records Act. The designated representative does not want to provide personal information like social security number, age, or address. I am wondering if there is a form that allows the account to be opened without disclosing the representative's personal details on the NFS new account papers.
