I recently discovered a lien on my property by National City Mortgage (DBA Commonwealth). After speaking with a representative in your lien release department, I was advised to submit my information to have the lien removed. I was assured that the process would take approximately 15 days, and I will receive a notarized proof of satisfaction once the lien is released. For security reasons, I prefer to share my full SSN over the phone rather than in writing.
Please let me know if you require any additional information aside from my name and address listed below. I can provide the title search report that shows the unreleased lien via email upon request.

Several years ago, I had a mortgage with your institution that has since been fully paid off. However, I recently discovered that National City Mortgage, now operating as Commonwealth, still shows an unreleased lien or Deed of Trust on my property title search. I am requesting that this unresolved lien be removed and that I receive documentation confirming the satisfaction of the mortgage. Please let me know the necessary steps to resolve this matter. I can share additional information via secure email or over the phone but would prefer not to disclose my Social Security Number on this platform.
Best regards,
Sheila W.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Wiseman. I had a mortgage with National City back in [redacted]. Unfortunately, my home was destroyed, and after my divorce, I was awarded the remaining property. I had insurance coverage that paid for the demolition costs, but I never received reimbursement. The check was sent to the Michigan Treasury since I had moved. I discovered that National City Mortgage records over 7 years old were purged after it was taken over by PNC Bank. I need someone from National City Mortgage to sign off on the payment of $[redacted] to retrieve the funds. If National City has an interest, I am willing to split the amount, otherwise, I need a notarized letterhead stating they have no claim over the payment. Please send the letter to my email at [redacted] so I can move forward with the Michigan Treasury. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this long-standing issue. Jennifer Wiseman
