I requested dental work from Dr. Daniel Gati at American Dental located at [redacted] W 30th St, NY [redacted]. My claim was sent on January 4, [redacted]. I have not received any updates on the status of my mouth. My teeth are not positioned correctly, making it challenging to chew and eat properly. I fear choking on food. I believe I am eligible for upper and lower flippers due to my existing teeth. Please investigate why my approval is pending. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Jennifer M. I currently have Medicaid and Wellness coverage. Typically, I receive a MetroCard for my doctor's appointments, but I was recently informed I am no longer eligible despite maintaining my Medicaid coverage. This has led to unexpected expenses for my medications, which I usually do not have to pay for. Affording $15 for my essential medication is challenging as I am on SSD. I have an upcoming doctor's appointment tomorrow, but without access to transportation or necessary pills, it puts a strain on my mental health issues as I struggle with bipolar disorder, depression, and severe anxiety. It's crucial for me to have my medications to function, especially as a parent. I am seeking assistance to resolve this situation promptly.

My mother, Carmela Tocco, had $[redacted] withdrawn from her checking account by Medicaid SCS Pool Trust for July and October rents at [redacted] Swinton Avenue, Bx, NY. I, her daughter Angela Basciano, have been trying to resolve this issue since July. Despite multiple attempts to reach them, the rents remain unpaid. The checks have allegedly been reissued three times but never reached the landlord. I am frustrated by the lack of progress in resolving this matter as the landlord is understandably upset. I have sought help from various agencies to no avail. It seems like Pool Trust is avoiding the payment altogether. I am unsure of where to turn next or who to contact for assistance. The lack of communication and action from Pool Trust is disheartening, and I am seeking guidance on how to address this ongoing problem.

I am seeking an update from NYC HRA concerning my 91-year-old mom's Medicaid renewal application. Her documents were submitted online in mid-June and I received confirmation. It has been 5 months since. My mom is entirely reliant on home health aides, and her coverage ends on 11/30/23. In September, her recertification date was changed to "does not expire" and the end of coverage, originally set for 9/30, was extended to 11/30. However, when I contacted HRA, I was informed that all applications were automatically extended. This leaves me uncertain about my mom's renewal status.
Similar to last year, HRA had all the documents well in advance but did not process them. Despite reassurances, my mom's Medicaid was terminated without notice, leading to the abrupt cessation of her MLTC coverage. While emergency calls eventually resolved the issue last year, I cannot risk a recurrence. I have been on hold all afternoon, preparing to dedicate every day until 11/30 to this matter. I fear that HRA will mishandle the situation once again, potentially resulting in a dire outcome. Is there any way to navigate this situation more effectively?
