Dear forum members, As a former customer of NEVADA POWER in Las Vegas, I am reaching out for advice and assistance. Following a move out of state due to a job loss, I am unable to pay off my remaining balance of just over $1,[redacted]. Despite my efforts to set up a payment plan with NV-power, I was informed that I must pay the full amount as I am no longer a customer, or risk having my account sent to collections. With a desire to maintain my good credit and avoid potential financial hardship, I am seeking any guidance or support you can offer in this challenging situation. Your help and response on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance, Initials M.L. [redacted] [redacted]

Hello, I recently changed my service address and need to update my automatic payments. I have been having trouble using the website, and I am currently on vacation out of the country, making it difficult to call for assistance. If it's possible, I would appreciate working with someone via email to update my payment information. Thank you, Brian E. [redacted] [redacted] S Durango Dr #[redacted] Las Vegas, NV [redacted]

I am concerned about my latest payment due on December 25, [redacted], for a total of $[redacted].66, which has not yet been credited to my bank account. I have automatic payments set up, and it has been almost a week now. Do I need to make the payment again? I have tried contacting NV Energy customer service multiple times, but two representatives were rude to me because of my language proficiency. I need assistance as I don't want to incur any penalties or fees due to this delay. Thank you, Jennifer Balido

We recently acquired a house at [redacted] Evening Ridge St. in Henderson. There seems to be a safety concern with the outside power box - touching the GFI could be fatal due to the high voltage. To ensure we can resell the property and address this liability, it's crucial to fix this issue. Are we obligated to address this problem, and if so, how can we safely turn off the power from the street for the outdoor fuse box? Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
