The frequent failures suggest a built-in problem with this assembly, despite the manufacturer's quality boasts. The current cost for repairs is close to 25% of the initial purchase price of a new machine. My wife and I believed we invested in a high-quality, reliable dishwasher, and experiencing this issue four times, with three incidents in the past six years, is concerning. We would appreciate your insights on this matter and whether it is reasonable to bear the cost of fixing the water proof system for the fourth time, considering the history of failures. I own the following Miele kitchen appliances: a 30-inch built-in wall gas oven, a dishwasher, a microwave/convection wall oven, a built-in steamer, a built-in coffee system, and 3 Miele vacuum cleaners. I need service on my gas oven. I tried calling and emailing, but couldn't get through. When I finally spoke to a customer service rep, they were unhelpful and promised a repair call that never came. After trying to reach Miele again, I was disconnected. I'm disappointed with this experience and wonder if I would ever consider buying another Miele appliance or recommending Miele to others. A loyal customer deserves better service.
