I reside in Roosevelt Park, MI [redacted] and I'm looking to renew my tags and registration, as my birthday was yesterday on January 2nd. The Meijer kiosk on Norton is currently out of order. I'm wondering if there are other locations nearby where I can use a kiosk machine. Can I make my payment online for my tags and registration and receive a temporary document until the actual ones arrive by mail? Alternatively, can I schedule an appointment at the Secretary of State Office on Apple St in Muskegon, MI to use their kiosk machine? My auto insurance with AAA is current, even though my insurance paper is difficult to access in my glovebox. While I'm not driving my vehicle due to health reasons, I urgently need to resolve this matter to attend medical appointments and take my son to school. Thank you. Are there any other stores offering a kiosk machine besides Meijer near me?

I am looking for the telephone number of the SOS Branch on Michigan Avenue, just East of Frandor. I might have left my reading glasses there last Friday, February 11th, between 3:30 and 3:40 PM. I attempted to use Live Chat but did not receive helpful results. They insisted I pay $1.00 for the information. When I mentioned my issue pertained to a misplaced item, they started mentioning my 'smart phone,' which was unrelated. Despite my objections, they continued to prompt me to pay the fee for the number. I made it clear that I was not willing to pay to obtain a telephone number.

When contacting the customer service line, it is frustrating that reaching a human representative seems impossible. The Saginaw, MI Secretary of State office has a crucial issue that only a human can resolve.
My son was denied an ID due to a request for an original birth certificate from Guatemala, despite having a Michigan-issued delayed birth certificate for foreign births, which has been accepted in the past by the office. The original birth certificate is in Spanish and stored in my safety deposit box since we reside in different cities.
To prevent any mishaps with the original document, it is important to handle it with care. I seek assistance from a senior representative to communicate with the Saginaw office promptly for my son to acquire his ID. This is urgent as he needs it for job applications.

Hello, my name is William J. Demetroff. I currently reside in Tennessee, originally from Michigan, and have been here for the past 23 to 24 years. I faced a situation in my early twenties where my driver's license was revoked. Now at the age of 68, I am eager to obtain my driver's license again. I am uncertain about where or how to begin the process. I have searched online but found nothing specific to my circumstances. Could anyone provide guidance on how to proceed with reinstating my driver's license? Thank you. [redacted] - [redacted]

On March 17, [redacted], I had a car accident that was my fault. Following the advice from the SOS, I completed the Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course on 5/4/[redacted] with an 80% success rate. I tried sending a copy of my completion certificate to the SOS on 5/13 and 5/19. After visiting the Ypsilanti SOS office, I was informed that they never received my completion copy. I contacted I Drive Safely, who assured me they would handle it. Unfortunately, on May 23, [redacted], Giselle from I Drive Safely informed me that the Mi SOS stated they couldn't report my completion as I was not eligible to take the course. Despite the SOS originally recommending the course to reduce points on my insurance, I am confused about why I was rejected. I sought help from the Ypsilanti SOS office, but they were unable to assist me effectively. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Regarding the State of Michigan, Secretary of State, Portage MI Branch:
On 09/06/[redacted], a notarized Power of Attorney (POA) was signed and granted to me. Unfortunately, on 10/03/[redacted], the issuer of the POA was unable to sign a car title, and since he wanted me to have his car, I signed as the POA and also filled in the "buyer" section. An appointment was scheduled for 10/17/[redacted].
Tragically, on 10/06/[redacted], the issuer of the POA passed away, and funeral arrangements began. Upon receiving the death certificate and rescheduling the appointment for 10/31/[redacted], the clerk did not recognize the notarized Durable Power of Attorney. I was given a form that required the next of kin, his mother who lives [redacted] miles away, to sign. It is essential to clarify that the estate only began after his passing on 10/06/[redacted], as the car was not part of the estate when I signed on 10/03/[redacted]. The Last Will and Testament was also overlooked.
The primary objective is to ensure that the new title is issued as intended by the deceased, who was fully cognizant when making the decisions.

I am seeking Michigan state IDs for two legally sponsored adult young men who are Spanish-speaking, here on visas for two years. They do not drive. I have their Work Permit Papers and all the necessary documents from Homeland Security, along with their Visas. Do we need appointments to apply, and if so, how quickly can we schedule them? A second piece of ID with their address is required. Contact me at [redacted] if further information is needed. Thank you. I am looking forward to purchasing a classic car this Saturday and driving to Poughkeepsie, NY for it. The seller provided me with a picture of the Transferable Registration. According to him, NY doesn't provide titles, only Transferable Registrations. To register the car in Michigan, I just need the registration and a sales agreement. Can anyone verify this for me? I wouldn't want to make an 11.5-hour trip to find out I can't register the car. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I bought a classic car from out of state and have the Wyoming title and a bill of sale to get a Michigan title. Michigan's SOS website states I need proof of insurance. The car is in need of restoration and is not drivable. I don't plan to register it until it's road-ready. Do I need insurance just to get a Michigan title for a non-operational car I won't be licensing right away?
