Merrill Lynch Edge Customer Service Issues

I have been at my bank for the last 3.5 hours trying to pay my car loan, but my Visa CMA debit card keeps declining. I was on hold for an hour and a half before finally speaking to someone at Merrill Edge, who then put me on hold for another 45 minutes. After being assured the issue was resolved, the card still declined. I called back and waited for another hour before giving up. I need my funds to pay my bills, but the bank can't seem to figure out the issue. I transferred funds to this account four business days ago from another Merrill account via wire transfer, which they claim is same day, yet today they say my transfer is still pending. They have given conflicting reasons including Visa and PayPal freezing the account. Just a tip, always add at least 3 days to any time frame they provide because their promises often fall short. This frustrating experience is unfortunately a common occurrence with Merrill for all my transactions.
