Maxtor Customer Service Issues

Dear Maxtor, One year ago on Christmas, I received an M3 hard drive. It performed well initially, but after carrying it around, it seems to have encountered issues. Despite my efforts to handle it carefully and avoid dropping it, the hard drive eventually became unrecognizable by any computer. I was able to fix it once when it turned to RAW, but now I face the dilemma of no computer detecting it. This is distressing as I have crucial data and projects stored on it. The service center has mentioned that the situation seems irreparable with no hope of data recovery. Hello, our Home and Beautification Association e.V. Schmölln purchased a 1TB Maxtor USB 3.0 External Hard Drive from Ctronics Computer in [redacted] Zwickau, Innere-Plauensche Str. 5 on May 12, [redacted], for €70.80 (Maxtor 1TB/Model: HX-M101TCB/GMR/NM130AFR). In October of this year, the hard drive stopped working, and I took it to Zwickau for repairs. I was informed that it was fixed after examination. The same issue recurred a few days ago, so I returned it today. It was checked again on-site, and it was confirmed that the hard drive is indeed defective. I was not provided a replacement because the warranty has expired, according to Mr. Herwig, the store manager in Zwickau. Can you assist us? €70 is a significant amount for our association.
