I checked into room [redacted] in Cola, SC, and immediately noticed the AC was not working properly. I called the front desk to report it shortly after arrival. They came up, adjusted the settings, and left. However, the issue persisted, so I called again the next morning. The front desk said a maintenance person would come, but after waiting for an hour with no response, I called again. Another promise of a visit from maintenance led to no results. Throughout this time, the room remained uncomfortably hot. When I called once more, the staff member seemed unfriendly. I eventually went down to the front desk to address the situation in person. I am frustrated that I had to deal with a malfunctioning AC and a less than pleasant response from the staff after paying $[redacted] for the room. I believe a full reimbursement is the appropriate resolution.

I prepaid for a 7-day stay at this motel and was placed in a very unsafe area. During the day, I was approached by people offering drugs. At night, the situation escalated with loud music and disturbances. Feeling terrified, I had to seek refuge in another hotel room. Dogs barking all night and commotion similar to a police raid made it impossible to rest. When I brought up my concerns to the office, they seemed afraid too and offered to switch my room for an additional fee. Despite the helpful staff, the manager showed no concern for my safety and well-being. I paid the extra fee just to get some sleep, but the experience left me feeling unimportant and disregarded. I am hopeful that my remaining stay in a different room will be better, as the rates are good. This incident could have been handled more effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. If my new room is safe and comfortable, I will consider extending my stay.

I pre-paid for * days at the motel and was placed in a dangerous area where I felt very unsafe as people were showing me drugs and offering to sell them to me, especially troubling as a female. The noise at night escalated, leading me to seek refuge in another hotel room due to fear. I faced disturbances from a barking dog and loud, disruptive noises resembling a raid. I brought these issues to the management, who seemed hesitant to address them promptly. Despite their claims of a lack of available rooms, it appeared there were vacant ones. I requested a room change or a refund, along with compensation for the inconvenience. The staff were sympathetic, yet the manager's indifference left me feeling unimportant. Exhausted and desperate for rest, I reluctantly paid extra for a new room. Though if this room proves secure, I may extend my stay due to the affordable rates. I hope for a safer and more peaceful experience for the remainder of my time here to consider continuing my stay. The previous rooms had various issues like malfunctioning lamps and inadequate amenities, adding to my discomfort. Today is the *nd day of my stay, and I am contemplating leaving early due to these challenges.

I have frequented Masters Inn in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on multiple occasions. Recently, my situation has changed, and I would like to inquire if corporate would be willing to provide me with a complimentary one-night stay on December 18, [redacted], checking out on December 19, [redacted] in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I typically do not make such requests, but given my loyalty to this motel, lack of complaints, and referrals of customers, I hope you can consider granting this one-time courtesy. Thank you.
