I purchased a router, and within a year, it malfunctioned. After requesting a replacement, I was disappointed to discover I had to bear the $9.45 return shipping cost for the defective item.
I find it unfair that the customer is held responsible for mailing back a faulty product, especially when it wasn't the customer's fault. My experience involved multiple calls to customer service, an extensive 1.5-hour conversation for replacement approval, contacting the fraud protection center to expedite the process, enduring 4 days without internet for work and school, and having an $85 hold on my credit card. It is disheartening to have to cover the return shipping for an item that was consistently problematic.
I possess the mailing receipt and tracking details for verification purposes and kindly request a refund for the shipping expenses. I remain hopeful for a positive response from the Linksys Customer Service team.

After spending hours on the phone with Xffinity, it was determined that my new router box was faulty. I called to request a replacement but was informed that a credit card, not a debit card, was required for the transaction. As I don't own a credit card, I opted to mail the router back. I was told that upon receiving the tracking number, a new one would be sent out. Despite sending it promptly the next day and being given a tracking number, it turned out to be false. Upon following up today, there was no information available about the replacement router. Communication errors and language barriers have made this experience frustrating. If this issue is not resolved by tomorrow, I'm prepared to take legal action for what seems like a mishandling of my equipment.

I recently purchased a Linksys AC [redacted] Smart Wi-Fi router, still sealed in the plastic wrap. While trying to set it up with my Frontier Internet service, I encountered connectivity issues. Despite connecting it directly to the ONT box outside through wired ports, I'm unable to establish an internet connection both wired and wirelessly. Unlike my Netgear router, which works fine, the Linksys router has been unsuccessful in providing internet access despite being highly rated. I tried standard settings and accessing it through a browser, but no luck. Sharing the serial number and MAC details for reference.

My EA**** device is experiencing issues. It is not able to access certain websites, has problems with the WiFi connection, and I cannot log in through the app. I have tried performing a complete hard reset multiple times but to no avail. I can use the device as an access point to provide internet to wireless clients, but it is unable to access the cloud for the setup process. The current setup involves using the router as a bridge with switches between the EA**** and the ATT router. Other devices in the same location are working fine. I recently got a new computer and have been struggling to connect it to my router. Even though I am using the code provided by the original technician, it is not working. I really need the internet to work so I can perform various tasks. I would appreciate help in simple terms as I find technology hard to understand due to my age. I'm frustrated because I need internet access, and I feel like customer care is not a priority. It's challenging for me to reach out for support as my email is not working without internet access. I am attempting to reach customer service today but keep getting directed to technical support. I have been disconnected multiple times while trying to reach customer service. I am inquiring about Order # LEC[redacted]9 scheduled for delivery today with expedited service. The tracking number provided is not recognized by UPS. If the order has not shipped, I need to cancel and place a new order today. I cannot afford to be without internet any longer. Additionally, I previously had issues with a router a year ago under case #[redacted]6.
