Liberty Travel Customer Service Issues

I recently made a reservation for a vacation through Liberty Travel at a resort that was quite disappointing. The resort's name will not be mentioned, as I believe Liberty Travel should take responsibility for recommending it. The condition of the resort was subpar, and the level of customer service was unsatisfactory. Upon arrival, I inquired about a promised upgrade, only to be told by the front desk that no upgrades were available. Additionally, I had to ask for the resort coupons on the third day of my stay. The room I was assigned had a view of a construction site. The state of the resort was poor, with stained rugs, loose moldings, chipped concrete around the pool area, and a faulty drainage system. Housekeeping left partially eaten room service trays in the hallways for extended periods, attracting insects. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to issues, such as running out of cups at the beach bar. The quality of alcohol varied significantly between complimentary and paid establishments. The buffet offerings were substandard, with overcooked meats, lackluster side dishes, and limited choices. The Italian restaurant's food was so unappetizing that we left most of it uneaten. Moreover, amenities like the children's club appeared neglected. It was clear that the resort was lacking in quality, which makes me question Liberty Travel's recommendation of this property.
