During archery season last weekend, my Leupold 1000i TBR rangefinder stopped working. I contacted the repair department and learned it was out of warranty, despite the Lifetime Warranty claim. They offered me a discount on a new device. I attempted a shot at a deer but missed high due to relying on the rangefinder for angle calculations. After hours of searching, I couldn't find the deer. I realized this is a common issue with my model. I feel frustrated and question why I should invest in another Leupold instead of switching to Vortex with an actual Lifetime Warranty. Having been a loyal Leupold customer for 40 years, spending thousands on their scopes, I am disappointed. How can this situation be resolved?

I had a RX-[redacted] TBR with a bad LED and ordered an upgrade to the [redacted] model to use for my elk hunt in August. Unfortunately, it has been about 3 months since the purchase, and my elk hunt has come and gone without the upgraded device arriving. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Leupold has been my go-to brand for rifle scopes, binoculars, and range finders, but this will be the last time I purchase anything with your name on it. I will make sure to share my disappointment with others online. Due to the delay, I had to buy a new one for my elk hunt, which has left me very frustrated. Thank you, a dissatisfied customer.
