I am currently at the Breidegam Family Children’s ER with my son, who hit his head and likely needs stitches. We've been waiting for about four hours. The waiting room is full, with people waiting for hours. Despite my son’s head bleeding again, he only received a bandage at the front desk. The layout makes it hard to hear when names are called. I question the definition of a true emergency, as we see various cases like coughs and fevers among children. There seems to be a lack of prioritization. I am concerned about the staffing and management of LVHN facilities, given my experiences at different locations. The long waits and mixed services are frustrating for a loyal parent seeking quality care for their child.
