After separating from my previous employer, I refiled my claim on 7/6/20. Since then, my claim has been under investigation, and despite requesting my checks as normal, the funds are deducted from my account but never deposited. I keep receiving credits for requesting the checks, but no payment is received. I have been trying to contact Unemployment through autoresponders, the automated telephone system, and even fax, with all my fax confirmations in hand. Despite applying for suitable jobs and working from home (categorized as Other Income), the lack of communication persists. The absence of live person contacts or responses to my inquiries has been frustrating. I am left without any guidance on what is required from my end to proceed. Please investigate this matter and provide me with the necessary information to move forward. Best regards, Michelle L. H. D/O/B 08/20/[redacted]

I started receiving unemployment in March [redacted]. When it was time to file another claim in September, I was informed that my claim was under investigation. I am puzzled because all my information is accurate, and I have provided the necessary documents to prove my identity. Despite numerous calls and emails since September, I have not received any responses or callbacks. As a single mother of two who lost my job due to COVID, it has been challenging to find new employment as my children are engaged in remote learning. The delay in receiving my unemployment benefits is putting a strain on our situation. It is disappointing that assistance seems limited to renters when homeowners also require support. I kindly request for someone from the unemployment office to reach out to me to clarify why my claim is under investigation and guide me on the necessary steps to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your help.

I submitted my initial claim in September [redacted]. I received the letter with my weekly payment details and uploaded my identification. Despite regularly filing my claim, I haven't received any payments yet. I have been actively looking for work but haven't been successful. With Christmas approaching, it's crucial for me to receive these payments for my two children's Christmas. I've tried calling multiple times but haven't reached anyone for assistance. I believe it may be a simple issue to resolve, and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me with this matter.

My unemployment benefits were frozen while waiting for my PIN number to arrive in the mail. Kentucky Unemployment also shut down the website for everyone to transition to a new, improved site. My last claim in March [redacted] caused my benefits to zero out. Despite being told I didn't need to fill anything out, I opened my claim. Now, two days before my biweekly claim on the new Kentucky website, my status was under "fact finding/investigation," which left me confused. Currently, my status says "processed," but my last two payments for April are not showing in the payment history section. I need assistance with this issue.

I have been trying multiple times to contact someone in the unemployment department without success. I applied in March but haven't received any payments yet, despite receiving a statement on my benefits. Initially, my account was under investigation, and since April, it's been in fact-finding status. This situation is frustrating as I, like many others, am struggling to make ends meet. The lack of communication with real individuals is disheartening. I attempted to reach out to the governor, who expressed regret for the inconvenience. I am owed benefits from February 20th to the end of April due to losing my job because of Covid-19. I'm in urgent need of assistance. I am now considering contacting Senator Rand Paul for help. Can someone please guide me on how to speak with a live person? Thank you, F.S. [redacted]

I applied for unemployment benefits in April [redacted] but never received the first payment. Upon being called back to work, I stopped requesting payments. Unfortunately, after experiencing a heart attack and undergoing a procedure, I returned to find that my job had been filled by a new manager. I have been struggling to reach Kentucky Unemployment as every attempt fails, either by getting disconnected or being unable to match my social security number and PIN. The online filing system gives me the same error, pushing me to call the [redacted] number in a frustrating loop. I am currently staying with my son, facing the risk of losing everything again. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Rachael Honaker. My social security number is [redacted]. I encountered an issue when trying to renew my claim two weeks after it expired. The system was shut down due to a security breach, causing a delay of an additional 10 days. When I finally tried to file my claim, the system requested me to contact someone at the unemployment office. However, every number I call gives me an automated message saying there is an issue with my call or claim. I have been attempting to schedule an appointment online for the past two months, but there are never any available slots. I am facing financial difficulties and risk losing my car and being unable to pay my bills. I seek urgent assistance. Thank you for your help. - R.H.

Hello, my name is Rickey A. and I have been in a lengthy fact-finding process, resulting in not receiving payment for six months. This situation has led to a loss of everything, and despite multiple monetary reconsideration letters indicating an increased benefit amount, I have not received any payments. Due to these circumstances and the impact of Covid-19, I had to relocate to stay with family out of state since I couldn't afford bills. It has been a stressful and prolonged ordeal. I am seeking assistance to resolve the fact-finding issue and receive the owed payments to rebuild my life. I lost my home, car, and business, which is why I applied for unemployment benefits. Despite following all requirements including job search registrations and benefit requests, waking up to see a claim payout of zero dollars today has been disheartening. This situation is overwhelming, causing depression and feelings of inadequacy. I hope someone can assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

I submitted an unemployment claim in February and was informed that I had enough wages to cover the claim. I adhered to the instructions provided until I found a job. Unfortunately, I have lost that job and received another ticket for my car's tags. Despite scheduling an appointment in person and being assured that it would be resolved, I was later asked to verify my ID through email. I distinctly remember verifying my ID in person at the office. Despite my attempts to upload the necessary documents, they were rejected multiple times. The delay in receiving back payments has caused me additional struggles while trying to make ends meet. I have been working for 25 years and need assistance to navigate through this difficult situation, which is the primary purpose of the unemployment insurance system. I have encountered challenges reaching anyone via phone or email for help. How can I get the support I need to address this issue?

I applied for unemployment when I was laid off on November 14, [redacted] and continued to request it until the last week of April [redacted] when I was called back to work on May 2, [redacted]. Despite being informed that I would receive $[redacted] every two weeks after taxes, I never received any payments. I have tried contacting Kentucky Unemployment multiple times through various numbers and email addresses without any response. I am frustrated about not receiving the money I am owed, especially after paying taxes on it. I hope to resolve this issue promptly as I am facing another potential layoff for the upcoming winter season without having received last winter's unemployment benefits.

On May 19th, [redacted], I applied for unemployment in Kentucky due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing my workplace to close indefinitely. Despite my efforts to reach a representative by phone, I faced long wait times resulting in financial difficulties, including receiving disconnection notices for my utilities. To make matters worse, my car was repossessed even after explaining my situation to the lender. It wasn't until February [redacted] that I received approval for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), but encountered issues with accessing the online portal to file my claims due to email and phone troubles. Despite numerous attempts to contact for assistance, I have only received a portion of my entitled benefits. The frustration peaked when I was notified of my unemployment termination in July for missing an appointment I couldn't access due to email problems. I am desperate for resolution and pleading for help to straighten out this ongoing ordeal before it's too late. Thank you for your consideration and support.
