Joomla Software Customer Service Issues

I am currently managing Joomla websites for multiple customers, and one of the sites, reflectionsofdivinity.com, is presenting an issue. I am experiencing difficulty selecting text strings by simply dragging the cursor over a sentence or paragraph to highlight it, both in the Joomla administrator panel and the front end visible to the public. This problem persists on my Joomla 3 site, and I suspect it may be related to either the Joomla installation or the site's security. My hosting provider is HostGator.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am the owner of alienspacecats.com, a website that was set up by a friend as I have limited computer knowledge. While I could previously edit pictures, information, and pricing, I am now unable to access the administrator page or make any changes. I suspect the website might need an update, but I am uncertain how to proceed without my friend's assistance.
