As a current employee heading to my rig, I am reaching out for help regarding my recent relapse and addiction issues. Despite being clean since October of [redacted], last Friday I relapsed. I am willing to seek treatment, but I am concerned about potential drug testing and termination. I do not have any drugs with me on the rig and do not use during my shifts. I love my job and the company, and I am grateful for the opportunities provided for my family. I have heard about employees being sent to treatment for 30 days and returning to work positively changed. I am a dedicated worker and a father, deeply regretting my mistake. I want to know how to begin the process and if I am eligible for assistance after seven months of employment. I am afraid for the future of my family and seek guidance.
