During our stay at Hawthorne Suites on Northwoods Boulevard in Charleston, South Carolina from September 20 to 22, my fiance, grandkids, and I encountered cleanliness issues in our initial room, including drug paraphernalia and trash. After speaking with the manager, we were moved to another room and offered a discount for an extended stay. However, despite this, I have not received a refund for the security deposit. Each time I contact the hotel, I am put on hold for long periods and instructed to call back later.
