I bought fresh seafood from Harris Teeter on Friday, September 24, [redacted], for my husband's birthday dinner with friends. We had large shrimp, lobster tails, and stuffed crabs. Unfortunately, we all got sick shortly after eating. When I contacted the store, a meat department associate acknowledged issues with the seafood. I returned the uncooked shrimp, but they only offered a refund for that item. I was very unhappy with this response. My evic card number is [redacted]32.

Recently, I have observed that the HT string bean packages are showing signs of moisture. Additionally, the beans seem to be harder and less tender than usual. I have noticed this issue with products that are still within their "sell-by" date, specifically about 10-14 days in advance. I have come across this problem at two HT locations in Durham, #72 at Hope Valley Commons, and once at HT Woodcroft. Yesterday, during my visit to #72, I noticed the moisture issue again and decided not to purchase the beans. I am considering trying another store for my bean purchases moving forward. I applied for a job at Harris Teeter in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the Sandbridge Shopping Center. Initially, I applied for a Barista position, but the store manager, Tyler Walker, suggested a customer service role. He forwarded my application to the SD manager, Erika, and her assistant, Kristine. After interviewing with Kristine, she mentioned I was a good fit and indicated I would get a job offer shortly. Several days went by without an offer. When I contacted Kristine, she advised me to submit another online application due to a system issue. More days passed, still no offer. Erika eventually called to convey there would be no offer. She cited a conflict because I worked at Target, Harris Teeter's competitor. This reasoning seems questionable since they offer different products. I am disappointed with how my application was handled. If the company policy prohibits part-time employees from working at Target, I should have been informed earlier. I was excited about the prospect of joining the team. I am eager for clarification on the employment rule relating to working at Harris Teeter alongside other jobs. I believe this policy shouldn't apply as I'm simply seeking work without disclosing any sensitive information.
