I bought a belt for my son for Christmas, but it turned out to be too big. Despite intending to return it promptly, I forgot it in the trunk of my car. I accept my mistake but hoped to exchange it for a larger size during a 2-hour round trip to the Tangier Outlet Mall store in Daytona. Unfortunately, I was let down by the clerk's refusal to accommodate the exchange. I have always praised Haggar and considered them my go-to for clothes. Feeling disrespected by the situation, I was surprised when the clerk mentioned they couldn't re-tag the item, while other businesses like Walmart can. This comparison made me question if Walmart is better than Haggar. Frustrated, I considered giving away the unworn belt as it doesn't fit any family member. Despite suggesting tracing the purchase via my debit card, the clerk showed no interest in resolving the issue. This experience consumed three hours of my day for a simple belt exchange without a solution in sight.
