Approximately two months ago, when Microsoft released the latest updates for Windows 10, it caused compatibility issues with Google Chrome. Following the update, users experienced difficulties such as needing to click the Chrome icon multiple times for it to launch and open multiple windows simultaneously. Furthermore, links outside of Chrome did not open in the browser, even when set as the default. While some have suggested fixes like modifying the Registry Editor and adjusting Chrome settings, the issue remains unresolved for many, affecting users randomly regardless of their hardware or installed programs. I have discovered a workaround by running the browser in compatibility mode for Windows 8, but a permanent solution has yet to be found. If anyone has any insights or recommendations, please share them.

On October 10th in the afternoon, my connection privacy on Google Chrome was working fine. When I returned later that evening, I encountered the "NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID" error on many websites I frequently visit like online shopping platforms and Wikipedia. Despite checking my clock, running antivirus scans, inspecting plug-ins, and verifying expired certificates, the issue persists. Even after reinstalling Chrome, the problem remains. Strangely, no other devices on my network are experiencing this error. I seek a solution for this inconvenience and would appreciate being connected with someone who can assist. Please reach out to me at [redacted] promptly. Thank you.

I am frustrated with the recurring issue I am facing with Google Chrome on my Samsung Galaxy S10. I consistently use incognito tabs, yet randomly, the app resets itself, causing me to lose all open tabs and work. Despite setting Chrome to "never sleep" in my phone's settings, this problem persists. While it occurred occasionally on my old Galaxy S10, it has worsened to once a week on my current device. This situation is significantly impacting my daily activities. I am seeking direct assistance to understand the cause of this problem and prevent the app from resetting in the future. I have already tried various solutions, none of which have been effective. Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I cannot recall the username for my Gmail account and I am attempting to regain access. Despite trying Google's username recovery method, I have been unsuccessful. I remember the password and my IP address is associated with this account. Additionally, my mobile number is linked to this account. However, I am still unable to reconnect with the account. Please reach out to me via email at [redacted] Thank you.

Ordered what I believed to be a robotics dog online two days ago. However, after visiting the website, I realized it was a scam. I promptly cancelled the order on my credit card. Now, I am receiving numerous pop-ups on my phone claiming it is infected with viruses, urging me to download a $29.99 app for a solution. As a 65-year-old living on a fixed income, I cannot afford this.

I recently lost around [redacted] tabs that I had collected over the past 2 years in Chrome. My browsing session history, which was always auto-saved and reliable, disappeared suddenly. I suspect it might be due to a bug, an auto-update, or a setting I missed. After updating my Malwarebytes program, this issue occurred. I need to recover these tabs as they were important resources I had set aside due to my busy schedule. Despite my efforts, I can't find a way to retrieve them. If recovering the December [redacted] session data is impossible, I would appreciate guidance on how to restore the older July [redacted] sessions into my current Chrome version. If necessary, I'm willing to revisit my Chrome history to manually restore the tabs from the past year, although my cache only goes back to December [redacted]. I'm unsure if there's a way to retrieve my history cache from as far back as [redacted].

I am currently facing issues with using Honorlock, an application required for my college exams. Despite downloading the Google Chrome extension and following all necessary steps, the program still does not function correctly. After consulting Honorlock support and attempting various solutions, it was revealed that the current version of Google Chrome on my device is 79, while Honorlock requires version 83 or higher. Unfortunately, I have been unable to update Chrome to the necessary version despite multiple efforts. Reinstalling the browser did not result in the automatic update to version 83 as expected. Is there a method to successfully update Google Chrome to meet the software requirements of Honorlock?

I am having trouble viewing my correct devices in my Google Chrome account. I need to install apps on my current laptop, but it is not listed as one of my devices in Chrome. How can I add the device I am currently using so I can install apps on it? The options given do not seem to match my devices. I pay monthly fees to Adobe, Microsoft, and Google through automatic bank account payments, so I should not be seeing trial offers for apps I am already subscribed to. However, my current device is not showing up as an available choice for installing apps, and I am unable to add it.

I recently purchased an HP Pavilion laptop and customized it with my Google accounts. I discovered how to enable Dark Mode by going to chrome://flags and selecting force dark mode for web content, which successfully switched Instagram, Wattpad, and Pinterest to a darker theme. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue when I accidentally set my book downloads to view in a video gallery. In an attempt to fix this, I reset my laptop, only to lose the Dark Mode feature. Despite trying different accounts, devices, and even using Chrome as a guest, I couldn't find the option to reenable it. Is there a hidden setting on my laptop that I'm missing, or is the feature no longer available for this device?

The notification from Google titled "One Account. All of Google" keeps appearing every two minutes on my screen, disrupting my email activities. Despite attempting various solutions such as selecting "Allow All" or "Deny" under the "Find my account" option, the problem persists. Even after seeking help from a Microsoft technician for two hours, the only suggestion was to create a new Outlook profile, causing me to lose my important 12GB .pst file and the intricate email folder structure I have meticulously crafted over 20 years. Despite extensive online research and trying multiple suggestions, including adjusting settings in Google Account management, the issue remains unresolved. This persistent problem has hindered my ability to effectively use Outlook for my online business, affecting my livelihood. The sudden onset of this issue three days ago has left me urgently seeking a solution. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this frustrating issue promptly.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my Google Chrome version [redacted].0.[redacted].79 on Ubuntu 22.04. There seems to be a rendering problem as elements on various sites are behaving strangely. For example, on Google search, hovering over results sometimes highlights a different result. When typing in forms, the content briefly displays as previously typed characters before correcting itself. Additionally, hidden content on some sites repeatedly shows and hides. The scroll bars flicker, and the reload button toggles between states even after the page has loaded. It appears as if an old render of the page is displayed before switching to the latest one in a continuous loop. I am willing to assist if needed and can communicate in both English and French. Any feedback on resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Hello, I need urgent assistance, please. Despite my efforts, I am lost about whom and how to reach out to for help. I am a Post Bank customer. I used to have a secure password, recommended by you, which was saved along with my username details. Previously, I didn't need to memorize or jot down anything to access my bank account; it was conveniently saved in Google. However, I recently had to change my password as per the account policy. When I tried to enter the new strong password, there seemed to be an issue with the system. Consequently, I deleted the previous login information to avoid confusion, which was a foolish mistake on my part. I urgently need to access my account to receive my Ministry of Defense disability pension and early retirement funds. I am seeking your assistance in retrieving my username and old password so I can set up a new one and log in to my bank account. I have my PIN code and all other necessary details. Thank you, Shachar M. Phone: +[redacted]1 Email: [redacted]

I've been experiencing significant slowness with Google Chrome. Every time I try to access a site, like my bank for the past two weeks, I keep getting an error message saying: Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from connect.secure.wellsfargo.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID I've tried using the more secure Google option, but I'm still encountering the same frustrating issue.

I am having issues with the size of my Google Chrome page where I access my Gmail. I used to be able to make it a medium size, but now when I try clicking the two squares on the top, it shrinks to a tiny rectangle, making it hard for me to see the page. Additionally, when I am on the internet and try to move the page, I am unable to do so. I suspect I may have accidentally pressed something on my keyboard that is preventing me from resizing the screen to a medium size. Currently, I can only make it very small by clicking the squares. I would like to know how to adjust my Google page back to a medium size as the small size is making it difficult for me to read the information displayed.

I need to update the primary address associated with this Chrome device to reflect Maria Kwiatkowska's details. Unfortunately, I encountered technical issues that prevented my previous communication from going through. I'm currently connected to a network in Hamilton, Ontario, which is not the original registered location. I will keep you informed about any changes regarding my email access. Please guide me through the verification process via email instead of phone by sending instructions to my email addresses [redacted] and [redacted] Thank you for your cooperation and understanding the inconvenience. I await your response patiently and request you to forward this message due to my current network constraints. Let's address these matters with sensitivity, safety, and maturity, promoting fairness, equality, dignity, and respect in our interactions. Your hard work and commitment are truly appreciated. On March 20th, [redacted], I responded to an email inviting me to participate in a survey for SHEIN. The email promised a $[redacted].00 gift card, with only shipping costs to cover. After completing the survey, I was redirected to a site called cmmatch.com. I contacted customer service to cancel the subscription and also canceled the debit card used. Now, I'm receiving concerning messages from Chrome on my phone about virus threats and compromises. These messages promote phone protection services from various providers. I'm receiving them one after another. How can I put a stop to this? Any advice is appreciated.

Hello, I am reaching out for support regarding a troubling incident involving a hacker gaining access to my Google account. The individual, who resides in my apartment complex, accessed my account on a shared computer and managed to steal all my personal information, including access to my iPhone and Apple Watch. Despite taking steps to secure my Apple devices by obtaining a new SIM card and phone number at the iPhone store in Mall of America, Bloomington, Minnesota, the hacker was still able to breach my Google account even after changing my verification settings. Law enforcement advised deleting my Google emails, but I am reluctant to do so as they contain cherished memories of my late parents and various vacations with loved ones.

I need urgent assistance. I feel helpless as I'm facing harassment from a hacker who gained access to my phone. This intruder is sharing my personal information publicly and using deceptive means to manipulate my identity for unauthorized purposes related to business or academic projects. By permitting this breach, it feels like I'm being implicated in criminal activities. I urgently require the hacker to be eliminated from accessing my information immediately.

Recently, I've observed that my computer's internet speed has significantly decreased. Despite working with Microsoft technical support twice, even reinstalling Windows 11, the issue persists. I haven't altered my Google Chrome settings recently, so I doubt that's the cause unless there were changes made by Google Chrome. Surprisingly, my internet speed improved when I switched to Microsoft Edge. Could there be any Microsoft software causing interference with Google Chrome's performance on my device?
