For many years, I have held a policy for my late son, Stephen P. Young, under Policy #[redacted]1. Unfortunately, Stephen passed away in a car accident on September 17, [redacted]. I have been unable to submit a claim due to delays in receiving the Death Certificate from the Medical Examiner's office. They have informed us that it may take up to 2 more months to obtain the certificate. In the meantime, I have noticed that my credit card has been charged monthly premiums automatically. I am considering cancelling these payments but unsure if it will affect the claim process once I have the Death Certificate. Could you advise on the best course of action moving forward?
