Hello, I am reaching out regarding my Funjet credit for Xcaret. My most recent cancellation was on 3-14-21 due to Covid. I was informed that I could use my credits until January [redacted]. I attempted to rebook my trip, but encountered issues with Interjet airline. Despite efforts, nobody could assist me since they were not answering their phones, possibly due to bankruptcy. An agent mentioned they would update me to reschedule, but I never received a follow-up call or email. When I called on July 19 and spoke to another agent, I was promised a callback that never happened. Today, Su mentioned my credit expired as I couldn't rebook while awaiting your company's investigation into the airline issue. I've paid nearly $8,[redacted] and wish to rebook my trip. I have been attempting to obtain travel credits for my clients Tresa B. and Wendy F. since September [redacted] when the reservation was canceled on 8/31/21. My clients are extremely unhappy, which reflects poorly on Funjet. The reservation numbers are HJ0460FW and E2D180E3 (Flight for Tresa). Despite my efforts and countless hours spent trying to resolve this issue, no resolution has been reached. I was informed there was a problem with a chargeback of $[redacted].73 made on 7/30/21, as the payment was meant to be a different amount. When I reached out to the Funjet representative for assistance, I was told the customer would need to contact their bank to cancel the payment. Accounting is still investigating this charge and attempting to refund the $[redacted].73 back to the reservation. This refund is unnecessary as the reservation was canceled, and the clients should receive credit for the amount paid minus insurance. I have also noted multiple times that the travel insurance for Ms. F. was incorrect, as she only had a hotel booking and not a flight, so her insurance should be $49.99 instead of $74.98. Ms. F. is eager to use her travel credits soon. My contact number is [redacted]. Please resolve this matter promptly. I find it very frustrating that after 6 months, this issue remains unresolved. I spoke with Alberto, who declined to transfer me to a supervisor and advised my clients to wait an additional 2 weeks, which I find completely unacceptable.

During my stay at the Crown Paradise Golden in Puerto Vallarta, booked through Funjet, I experienced an incident where a motion sensor glass door closed on me, causing damage. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter with Funjet, the resort manager held me responsible for the damages. Communication was challenging as the resort did not respond to calls or emails. I eventually located the manager and facilitated a conversation with Funjet. Unfortunately, Funjet did not provide a resolution, leading me to pay $[redacted] to the resort to check out. I possess a receipt for the payment and video evidence of the incident. To date, I have not received further communication from Funjet. This situation was distressing and costly, and I am seeking a refund for my trip.

I am feeling extremely upset and disappointed with Fun Jet Travels as I have been trying to get my travel credits for over two weeks now. I have been on hold for 2.5 hours and counting, hoping to speak with a Manager or Supervisor to resolve my issue, which I did not cause. Despite speaking with multiple representatives who provided conflicting information, I am still struggling to get a resolution. My Funjet Reservation # XN63G0E3 details my failed trip to Jamaica from May 12, [redacted], to May 17, [redacted], due to a strike by Air Traffic Controllers. I had to return home to Memphis, TN, and have been attempting to sort out my travel credit since May 13, [redacted]. Despite the numerous hours spent on the phone, I have not been able to speak with a Manager or Supervisor for assistance. It has been a frustrating experience dealing with the lack of clarity on which department to contact and being put on hold for extended periods. I am now being told that the department I need is closed, despite being assured it was open until 7:00 p.m. Eastern time and calling well before the closing time. I would like to discuss my recent booking from 12/04/[redacted] to 12/11/[redacted], with Booking #A72TG0FJ. The night before our departure at 10:00 pm, I fell ill. Vacations To Go was contacted, and Patricia DeMille reached out the next morning. Due to my illness, we missed our flight, had to cancel our trip, and were advised to file a claim with Trip Mate as we had insurance. I submitted all required forms along with two doctors' reports recommending against travel for 5 to 10 days, under Trip Mate claim #[redacted]. Unfortunately, our claim was denied, and we were labeled as a no-show. After inadvertently overlooking following up post the denial, I contacted Allen Fox from Vacations To Go. While considering a December vacation with Vacations To Go, I am now seeking a voucher to offset our trip costs. We believed it was the responsible choice not to travel while unwell, especially during the Pandemic. Our trip cost $[redacted].00, with no reimbursement received.
