I purchased three First Alert Alarm Model #P1210 smoke alarms in February [redacted]. Despite the higher price, I chose them for the 10-year battery feature. One of the alarms has malfunctioned, producing a chirping sound similar to a low battery warning. I had to deactivate it because it was alarming my dog. The other two alarms are working correctly. The unit that malfunctioned shows a manufacturing date of September 24, [redacted]. I believe the issue stems from this defective unit, not due to any misuse on my part. I kindly request a free replacement to resolve this situation promptly.

Five years ago, we installed six First Alert smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, model SC9120B. Now, we are looking to replace these old detectors with new ones while keeping the existing bases to avoid additional costs. Unfortunately, the SC9120B detectors are not available at local stores. Can anyone recommend where we can purchase compatible replacements that will fit the existing bases in our home?
