I am reaching out regarding a payment on my account. In July [redacted], I traveled out of the country due to a family emergency, and unfortunately, my mom's health declined, leading to her passing away last month. As a result, I made the decision to take a break from school for the fall semester to care for her. University of Alabama in Huntsville's Financial Aid office was notified about my situation, and they removed the awarded funds for the 2[redacted] school year. If I decide to resume classes in the spring, I will need to apply for a loan adjustment to only receive aid for that semester. Despite still being a registered student at UAH, I recently discovered a payment due on the 24th. Limited internet access on the island where I am currently residing may have caused a misunderstanding due to the adjustments made by the school.

I am seeking advice on how to remove a serious delinquency from my credit history. After my divorce, I discovered that my ex-wife had stopped paying off our joint student loans, resulting in a significant delinquency on my record. Despite paying off the entire outstanding balance of over $11,[redacted] by dipping into my [redacted]-K, the lengthy delinquency is still impacting my credit score. This mark on my credit report is hindering my ability to secure a mortgage as it reflects negatively on my financial standing. I am eager to rectify this situation and would appreciate any guidance on how to address and remove this delinquency promptly.

I am unable to type out my current situation. The website seems to be experiencing technical difficulties at the moment. I appreciate your team's operating hours from Monday to Friday for 13 hours each day, although having weekend support would be beneficial. Balancing multiple jobs while pregnant and being in a band is challenging, and I want to ensure my loans are managed properly. I am concerned as I have not received any emails or notifications. It is unfortunate that the website is inaccessible during maintenance. I value our partnership and would appreciate an email to keep me informed. My pregnancy brain makes it hard to remember details, so please reach out to me. Thank you for your assistance, looking forward to your prompt reply! -Amanda F.

I have received multiple calls from someone claiming to be a representative from US Financial Loan Serving. They have offered me a deal where I make $[redacted].00 payments for 6 months to qualify for loan forgiveness and then pay $19.00 a month for [redacted] months (20 years). They had all my loan information, SSN, and address which made it seem legitimate. The person, claiming to be Anthony Rossi from student loan servicing, asked for immediate payment of $[redacted].00 for forgiveness qualification. I reluctantly provided my credit card details only to regret it as I received six more calls today. I am starting to question the validity of this process. Thank you for your help. - M.S.

I received a denial letter for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, stating my loans were not the correct type. However, all my loans are Direct loans as required. On the Fedloan website, it shows I have made 71 out of 72 qualifying payments. Recently, I submitted an Employment Certification form, the first in about a year. Feeling uncertain about Fedloan and the forgiveness programs, I requested a review to confirm my eligibility.

I'm Nathan Martindale and I submitted my application for Public Student Loan Forgiveness on 11/17/21 after making my [redacted] on-time qualifying payments. On the Fed Loan website, I can see they acknowledged my [redacted] payments and confirmed my full-time employment over the past 10 years. I also completed the annual income certification as requested. However, I received an online letter stating I didn't qualify due to insufficient payments. I've tried contacting them three times, spending hours on hold with no resolution. I need assistance understanding why I was denied and what steps to take next. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I submitted a PSLF application in mid-December. I have not received any communication regarding its status - no confirmation of receipt, acceptance, or denial. My attempts to reach out for assistance have been frustrating, spending hours on hold only to get no help. Today, after finally speaking to a representative, I was informed that the information was handled by a different department and would need to be transferred. When I asked for a direct contact number, I was told they are only reachable through the main line. After another long hold with no success, I had to hang up and go to work. It seems disappointing that receiving government funding does not guarantee satisfactory customer service.
