I would like to make a payment today to go directly towards the principal without any interest, as my repayment period begins tomorrow, September 1st, and my due date is October 28, [redacted]. I am having trouble finding the option on the website to allocate today's payment solely to the principal. It seems to be applying the payment to both the principal and interest automatically. I have been trying to reach out over the phone since yesterday, but I haven't been able to speak with anyone. I was told I would receive a call back within two hours, but that hasn't happened. I am currently on hold, and it has been 1 hour and 35 minutes so far. I would appreciate any assistance.
