I purchased extension mirrors for my [redacted] Ford F-[redacted] truck from your site. Upon attempting to install them, it became clear they were not compatible with the stock smaller mirrors on my truck. I spoke with Heidi from customer service, who seemed to follow a scripted response, which was disappointing. Numerous other customers have faced the same issue, as highlighted in many complaints online. Despite Heidi mentioning a refund, I am dissatisfied with the requirement to cover the return shipping costs for an error made by etrailer. I had considered ordering more items from your site, but this experience has made me hesitant. I completed the phone survey and rated all aspects poorly. To retain our business and positive feedback, I urge etrailer to address this issue by not charging return shipping. As nearly full-time RVers who interact with many others in the community, our recommendation of your company hinges on your willingness to rectify this situation. I hope etrailer chooses to do the right thing and show integrity in this matter. - Richard D and Pat Perry

I placed an order for a Yakima Holdup bike rack, a 2-bike extension, and a hitch stabilizer on May 19, [redacted]. However, as of June 1, I checked the tracking only to find out that the items wouldn't ship until August 2nd! After a 10-minute hold, I spoke to a customer service agent who explained that the hitch stabilizer, a $16 part, was causing the delay as it was backordered. Despite the racks being in stock, there was no communication from Etrailer. This lack of transparency is surprising from a company that usually provides excellent service. Perhaps this delay is a one-time issue due to COVID-19, but it's disappointing that there was no automated message regarding the backorder problem.

I recently purchased a super hitch part with various components but encountered several issues during installation. The brackets provided with the hitch and truss were too small for the trailer wire connectors, requiring me to remove an extension plug to fit the wire through. Upon inspection, the wires inside the connector were too short and needed to be adjusted for proper connection. Additionally, the bracket did not accommodate a 4 wire connector and had two sets of holes, leading to incorrect positioning of the female plug. The design flaws caused frustration and required me to flip the bracket around for proper installation. A revised design should include a larger wire slot, a single set of mounting holes for correct placement, and a slot for a 4 wire connector.

I made a purchase from etrailer on August 6th at 4:50pm. The website indicated that all items were in stock, and my order was processed quickly. Despite this, the shipment, originally scheduled for Tuesday 8/11, has been delayed twice without any explanation. Now, they claim it will ship tomorrow with an estimated delivery next week. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and the delays. I cannot find an email address for inquiries, and waiting on hold for such matters is not ideal. If they miss the next delivery window, I plan to cancel my order and find the items elsewhere. It is frustrating that they don't offer an email contact option considering these issues.

I am looking to refurbish my trailer's bushings and equalizers, as well as lift it about 1.5 inches for more fender clearance. I need advice on which kit to purchase to achieve this lift while replacing the 6 hangers in the process. The tandem axle currently uses a 7.75 equalizer with a 2.5-inch center hanger and 1.5-inch end hangers. Thank you for any recommendations.

I recently installed the Road Master anti-sway bar RM-[redacted]-[redacted] on my [redacted] Mercedes-Benz Sprinter [redacted] Class C Thor motorhome and wanted to share my positive experience. I followed the instructional video, except I had to temporarily remove the shock on the tailpipe side to place the bar and then reinstalled it after securing the bar. The main challenge encountered was drilling the front hole in the frame for the link brackets due to interference from the handbrake cable bracket. I found that using an 8-inch long 1/2-inch bit and drilling at a slight angle worked well. Once the top was bolted down, I went back to re-drill the front hole through the bracket hole and installed the 1/2 bolt, using a C-clamp to secure the bracket during drilling. The installation significantly reduced side-to-side wobbling, making driving in challenging conditions with passing semis or crosswinds much smoother.

Hello, I need assistance as I am having difficulties due to age. I own a Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar with the part number [redacted], and I am looking to purchase the Quick Disconnect Bar. Alongside this, I am in need of a Base Plate that is compatible with my [redacted] Honda CRV for easy connection to the Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar mentioned earlier. Additionally, I require a wiring kit for my Honda's tail lights that includes bulb installation, aiming for a straightforward method due to arthritis affecting my hands. If you could provide me with the respective part numbers, I would greatly appreciate it as I aim to make the purchases online. Thank you for your help. Best regards, Ricky D.

I purchased a Curt Echo wireless brake controller for my 40-foot diesel pusher motorhome. Despite using it on several trips, I lack confidence in controlling my trailer. I have to be right beside the echo connection point with someone else applying the brakes to set it up. Once inside my coach, the app doesn't respond to my braking needs, disconnecting via Bluetooth. I tow a 20-foot tandem axle trailer with a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Jeep Wrangler Sport. Could the distance between the controller and my seat be the problem? I have a long trip ahead with mountainous terrain and need reliable braking. Any advice is appreciated.
