Hello, my name is Raquel G. I purchased the Dirt Devil Bagless Stick Vacuum with [redacted] Reach from HSN at the end of July this year. After about 2 months of use, I noticed that the motor near the handle heats up quickly within 2-3 minutes of operation. One day, after using it for about 10 minutes, it overheated and shut off. I let it cool for 5-10 minutes, but it didn't work until the next day. I mainly bought it to clean around my cat's litter box and pick up crumbs. When vacuuming, I have to go over things multiple times as it pushes items around before finally suctioning them up. Additionally, when I turn it off, litter grains come back out. I contacted HSN to return it, but I was past the 3-month return window. Since it seems to be a faulty vacuum, I am reaching out to see how this can be rectified, either by receiving a properly functioning replacement or a refund of $53.26. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently acquired a new Dirt Devil Power Max vacuum. After vacuuming the floor a few times, I attempted to use the wand to clean spider webs off the ceiling. To my surprise, dust started spitting out from the hole where the wand was inserted, even though the bin wasn't full and nothing was blocked. I only assembled the vacuum and used it on the rug a few times, so this issue is unexpected. I chose this vacuum for its lightweight design and versatility with the wand, but I'm disappointed that I can't use it without dust being scattered. I couldn't find a switch to change from floor to wand mode. I hope to resolve this problem to be able to effectively use the wand without the dust dispersion issue.

Dear Dirt Devil,
I want to express my disappointment with the new Dirt Devil Express. I noticed that it had no suction, and upon inspection, I found that the belt kept coming off. The ball designed to hold the belt in place seems to be contributing to the issue. Additionally, the clip that opens the bottom to dump the dirt fell off easily, causing inconvenience. I had to dig through the trash to find it. I returned the product, and while waiting in line, another customer had the same problem. It appears there may be a design flaw. I hope these issues can be addressed so that I can continue to support your products. My sister and I, who both clean houses and businesses, appreciate the affordability of your products.
Sincerely,
Mariah Cox

Purchased a Dirt Devil Jaguar Pet vacuum on Tuesday 4-16 but discovered there were no screws in the box for assembly on Thursday 4-18. I tried to call the store on 4-19 but no one was available. It's inconvenient for me to return to the store, so could you please send me the necessary screws? My contact number is +[redacted]4, and the address is Alan Painter, [redacted] Hamman Rd., Three Springs, PA [redacted]. I would appreciate it if you could confirm if you can send the screws. Thank you and have a wonderful day! Regards, Alan D. Painter.

I have some feedback to share about this model. The design lacks an end cap to secure the belt, causing it to come off frequently while in use. This flaw requires me to constantly unscrew and reattach the belt, making vacuuming a frustrating task. I have been a satisfied Dirt Devil customer in the past, but this particular model has been disappointing and feels like a waste of money and time.
Thank you,
Rhonda M.

I am frustrated to have purchased two of the same Dirt Devil vacuums, only to have them break in the same spot. As a single mother on a tight budget, spending over $[redacted] on the second vacuum is a significant amount for me. I expected a reliable product and now I am left with two broken vacuums. I am seeking a resolution from Dirt Devil, either a refund or a replacement that won't suffer from the same issue. Despite not having the receipt, I have evidence of the recurring problem through photos. I hope Dirt Devil can understand my situation and address this matter promptly.

Hello - I bought a Dirt Devil upright vacuum a few months ago. After using it only once, I encountered issues with its suction. Customer service helped me resolve the problem temporarily, but it keeps happening. The vacuum doesn't stay upright and tips over easily; the hose got disconnected and seems irreparable. Despite using it just a couple of times, it's now dysfunctional. I'm looking to get a refund for this $80 purchase, although I don't have the box or receipt anymore. Interestingly, I found a seemingly unused Bissell vacuum left outside, and it works perfectly now at no cost. Could you please guide me on the process of getting a refund? I can provide images of both vacuums. Thank you, Deanna S.

I recently received my Dirt Devil parts missing a filter with a large hole on top of the handle. The box showed a different cleaning pole than what I received, and the instruction book does not match this vacuum. The cord does not retract, although the book indicates that it should. I have been unable to reach anyone by phone for assistance. I'm disappointed with my purchase as a senior, and I will have to return it by mail. I had good experiences with Dirt Devil in the past, but this time has been frustrating.

I bought a vacuum (Max Reach 3/1) around 18 months ago and now both brushrolls are not working. The warranty should cover replacements or repairs for up to 24 months. Unfortunately, I can't find my proof of purchase, and the retailer (Canadian Tire) refuses to assist in locating it in their system or fixing/replacing the item. A $[redacted] vacuum should last at least two years! While these products are widely sold in Canada, the warranty contact information is not provided, and customer service seems non-existent. This experience has left me frustrated, and I doubt I will purchase from this brand again.

I recently bought your Dirt Devil Express Lite canister vacuum cleaner and I am disappointed to find out that it requires an additional filter to be cleaned after each use, unlike other bagless canister vacuums in the market. If I had noticed this in the product photo on the box, I would not have made the purchase. Having to clean the filter after every use is quite inconvenient for me. I would appreciate it if you could replace it with a model that does not require this additional step. I have been a satisfied customer of your products for a while, but this experience has been disappointing. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a positive resolution. Sincerely, Gene R.

I need assistance with getting my Dirt Devil vacuum serviced. After a previous bad experience with a different brand, I bought a Dirt Devil model UD70167P with an extended 3-year warranty from Walmart. However, Walmart won't honor the warranty as they say the manufacturer warranty is still active. My wife, who isn't familiar with technical matters, tried contacting the warranty center, and they asked her to perform troubleshooting tasks beyond her abilities. The vacuum has only been used a few times and doesn't pick up anything, just moves debris around. I checked the hose for clogs, but it seems clear. Any guidance on how to proceed with the warranty would be appreciated. You can reach me at [redacted]. Regards, Jason.

I provided my receipt, proof of purchase, and pictures as requested for my warranty claim. Customer service then asked me to disassemble the vacuum even further before honoring the warranty. Despite my attempts to explain my situation and offer a temporary fix with duct tape while waiting for a replacement, they have ignored all my emails. I submitted the claim at the beginning of August and am now considering reaching out to the head office for help. It's disappointing that the company is not honoring the warranty after I provided all the necessary details. This situation has made me question our consumer rights and the integrity of their customer service.
