I recently visited the location at [redacted] Concord Blvd. in Charlotte, NC with my spouse. During our meal, I found a long piece of black hair in my food. When I alerted the staff, the response was dismissive, with one saying, "it's not my hair," and the manager showing little concern. Eventually, the manager only removed the item from our bill without a proper apology. The lack of care and unhygienic incident left us with no appetite and feeling disgusted. The staff's indifference to the situation was disappointing, leading us to decide not to return to this restaurant and share our experience on social media.

I placed an order at Denny's restaurant number [redacted] yesterday with order number [redacted] and a total of $49.14. My nacho salad was missing the shredded lettuce and pico de gallo, and the toppings were incorrect. I called Denny's to resolve the issue, but the first person I spoke with was rude. The manager offered to fix the order, but I couldn't pick it up as I had it delivered. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and frequented your restaurant regularly. However, since manager Nash left, I have noticed a significant decline in both the service and food quality. This has led me to believe that the standards have dropped to the level of fast-food chains like McDonald's. I usually don't complain, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. For instance, on Oct. 23rd, I ordered soup and a grilled cheese sandwich at Denny's, only to receive a sandwich made with moldy bread. Additionally, during my most recent visit, my soup was served cold and the bread with no butter was dry and crusty. Despite requesting the soup to be reheated, it still came back cold, and the overall service was subpar. Considering all these issues, I urge Humpty's management to extend their operating hours to accommodate dissatisfied former Denny's patrons like myself. I hope to see improvements soon.

I dined at your establishment tonight, hoping to leave a tip for my server. However, when I requested change for a twenty from a worker at the register, I encountered a delay due to the employee being engaged in a personal phone call. The situation escalated when other employees surrounded me and displayed disrespect towards me, despite my intentions being solely to reward my server for their service. As a 60-year-old gentleman with over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, I was taken aback by the unprofessional behavior of your staff. I urge you to address this matter promptly. I recently had an order mix-up at the restaurant where the server, Reyes, tried to fix it with the cook, whom I heard her call Alberto. However, Alberto yelled and cursed at her in front of everyone. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened, and it's discouraging that the problem persists. I used to be a regular customer but had to stop coming due to similar issues. During our visit to store [redacted] in Salisbury, MD on Dec 3rd at 10:49 AM, our food remained at the window as our server Samantha stepped out with the manager for a smoke break. I had to fetch her myself. Upon returning, she didn't wash her hands and served us cold food. The manager provided a 20% discount but neglected Samantha's unprofessional behavior. Our bill was $26.05, and when my husband paid with a $50 bill, Samantha initially tried to give incorrect change. This experience was disappointing, and despite our love for Denny's, we won't be returning. It was concerning to see the manager smoking in front of the store with employees.

Good morning, I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had at Denny's recently. I placed an order for two single burgers with bacon, cheese, lettuce, and fries for pick up. However, I received two double burgers with onions, burnt bacon, jalapeno sauce, and poorly assembled. I contacted the store, but was hung up on when I tried to resolve the issue. Our recent experience at the local Denny's was disappointing. After waiting almost an hour for our food, the waitress neglected to refill our drinks and the meals we received had long hairs in them. When we requested more napkins, the waitress was nowhere to be found, so we had to take some from neighboring tables. The silverware provided was dirty and the napkins were not clean. Additionally, there was a situation involving an older dishwasher who became agitated and threw a bin of dirty dishes, filled with food, while cursing at the waitress. Despite returning the food with hair in it and witnessing the unsanitary conditions of the silverware and napkins, we were still charged for the meal. When we inquired about a manager, we were informed that there was none available on-site.

I would like to report an incident at the Denny's located at [redacted] tonight on December 13, [redacted]. A manager named Sherri was very rude to an employee. She was using hateful language, cursing, and even threw a card at the employee, which was very disrespectful. In addition, another manager named Sonya is frequently late or leaves early, raising suspicions. I have also witnessed employees going outside and using some type of drug. I hope this issue can be addressed promptly through necessary actions like drug testing. If not, I, along with others who dine there regularly, may take our business elsewhere. I feel it's important to notify the appropriate parties about these concerning behaviors.

I am employed at store [redacted], and I am facing challenges with my GM, James Stanley. His treatment towards me has led to exacerbating my PTSD, causing flare-ups in my osteoarthritis, worsening heart palpitations, and escalating my already high blood pressure. This situation has even resulted in several visits to the ER with symptoms akin to mini-heart attacks. I request Denny's corporate to dismiss James Stanley and compensate me with $[redacted],[redacted] for the distress caused. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Denny's. They charged my card twice for an order that was not mine, totaling $23.95, which I desperately need for essentials for my child. Despite being assured of a refund within 2 business days on December 2nd, I have yet to receive it or even a call regarding the delay. Every time I follow up, I am given the run-around that they are "working on it." I demand my money back promptly, as this situation is unacceptable. If necessary, I will take legal action over this $23.95. This experience has left me with a negative impression of Denny's, and I will not be supporting them in the future. Bogus

I recently faced suspension at work due to needing to call out because of my sick children. Additionally, our manager appears disinterested in her job, displaying rudeness towards staff and customers, showing favoritism, and enforcing rules inconsistently. This has led to receiving unfavorable shifts and frequent suspensions. It's especially challenging to be suspended just before Christmas, considering emergencies can arise. Furthermore, I have yet to receive proper compensation for working night shifts.

My colleague and I visited your establishment at [redacted] Tanay Street in North Kansas City, MO. We arrived around 9:30 PM; there were only three tables occupied. We were seated next to a table that cleared out shortly after. We ordered the Italian sampler, which arrived cold to lukewarm. When we mentioned it, we were informed that was how it was served by the cook. We then ordered a Philly steak but received a chicken Philly instead. I got the super bird sandwich, which looked unappetizing. When we raised these issues with our server, we were told the cooks didn't care. Despite only eating part of the sampler, we were still charged $35.19, even though we sent back the Philly and I couldn't eat the sandwich. This experience was disappointing as I am a regular at various Denny's restaurants nationwide. If this is the direction your establishment is heading, I may have to find dining elsewhere with better service and more affordable options. I have photos of the subpar super bird sandwich if needed.

I visited Denny's in Middletown, New York last night. I waited 20 minutes for a table, which was fine. However, after ordering, it took over an hour for the food to arrive, and it was cold and overcooked. I was informed that there was only one cook working due to being understaffed. The food was sent back, but when it returned, it was still cold. The silverware was dirty, and we had to go through multiple sets before receiving plastic utensils. To make matters worse, there were over 30 fruit flies around the food, some even landed on the plates. I have pictures of this situation. I would like Denny's to call me back to address this issue. My spouse and I visited the Denny's restaurant in Camillus, New York, yesterday on January 1st at around 10:30 a.m. We typically enjoy sitting at the counter and watching TV as it's a convenient spot for us. Despite the busyness of the restaurant, the area we were in near the counter was not crowded. There were two women, one of whom I assumed was the manager and the other an elderly waitress who seemed to have worked there for a long time. Unfortunately, neither of them acknowledged us or offered us coffee, which is unusual based on my previous dining experiences. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, I politely asked if we could have some coffee. The supervisor replied that she was busy and would attend to us when she could. This response was disappointing, and it's likely that I won't be returning to sit at the counter in the future. I visited Denny's on Eastman Road on Sunday, December 30th. Unfortunately, the manager was also the cook and was loudly yelling at the wait staff in a disrespectful manner that made it difficult to place an order. The employees mentioned that this behavior was common. The experience was unpleasant, and we won't be returning to this location. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly.

My companions and I entered Denny's on Seminole Rd in Largo, Florida, only to be informed by the waitress that it would take 45 minutes to receive our food. Even though the restaurant was not busy with just a handful of occupied tables, a gentleman advised us to dine elsewhere as he had been waiting for his food for two hours. Witnessing the slow service firsthand, we left to eat at another establishment. Despite seeing two managers and two cooks in the kitchen, the efficiency was lacking. This was not the first time we experienced such delays at this location. It seems the staff, including the managers, may benefit from additional training to improve their multitasking skills. If the restaurant cannot handle the volume of customers, perhaps the owner should consider making changes or closing down. It is concerning to think that the employees may not be able to earn money if patrons keep leaving due to service issues. Denny's in Largo definitely needs some assistance.

This morning, I visited Denny’s to place a to-go order. Upon entering, the cashier seemed distracted and served other customers before acknowledging me. When I inquired about a menu, I was informed they didn't have any. I mentioned the missing two, four, six, eight menu which apparently was only available on tables. After a delay, a menu was fetched. Despite the rocky start, I decided to place my order. However, when I returned to collect my food, I found it sitting out, not freshly made. Requesting sauce, I was told there would be an additional charge, which was unexpected. The lack of basic condiments with the meal surprised me. Disappointed with the overall experience, speaking with the manager didn't provide a satisfactory resolution as my concerns were dismissed. The service by cashier/host Latonia L. at [redacted] US-59, Wharton, TX [redacted], was unprofessional and rude. I hope this feedback leads to improvement.

Last night, my family of 18 went to Denny’s in Del Paso, Natomas around 5:30 AM. The staff there complained about our group size, mentioning another party had called ahead. They made us feel like a burden for not making a reservation. We didn't think we needed one for a breakfast outing with family. The workers were unprofessional, using foul language in front of customers and our kids, unacceptable in customer service. We won't return due to the rude behavior. They should remember to handle complaints discreetly; otherwise, they aren't suited for customer service. I don't have the receipt, but the credit card statement shows the transaction.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the General Manager at the Denny's in Salina, Utah. Her unprofessional behavior was shocking. The establishment was not clean, and her use of profane language, including multiple F-bombs, was unacceptable. Her condescending attitude towards everyone present was discouraging. We chose not to eat our meal to shield our family from such behavior. Due to this experience, we have decided that we will not be returning to this Denny's location or any other Denny's in the future.
