I am looking to return four products I bought from Costco in the last year. None have been used:

3) Ella Aroma Diffuser
4) Homedics Air Purifier
I have receipts for 1) and 4), but not for 2) and 3) yet. 1) was an online purchase, and 4) was bought at the Sudbury Costco. I am unsure about 2) and 3). Can these items be returned, and can a family member handle the return? If my step-daughter does the return, can the refund be credited to my credit card without her needing the card?

I want to start by mentioning that I used to work at Costco in St-Hubert, QC, Canada, which helped support me throughout my undergraduate years and allowed me flexibility while pursuing my education. Despite no longer being an employee, I have always valued my connection to Costco.
I had a concerning experience at the Vaughan, ON (NW Vaughan #[redacted]) location. On July 6, [redacted], I purchased a bracelet (item [redacted]) for $[redacted].97. I returned on July 21 to get a price adjustment to $[redacted].97. Today, on August 3, the price dropped to $[redacted].97. When I requested another adjustment, I faced difficulties with Georgette, the manager. Despite inconsistencies, I was ultimately able to purchase the item from Flor without issue.
Georgette's and Fabio's lack of empathy and understanding marred my shopping experience. Their behavior was disappointing, especially at a company like Costco. I believe employees like Flor exemplify the values Costco should uphold. It is my hope that this feedback reaches the appropriate individuals for further consideration.

I purchased a faux rabbit fur jumbo lounger because the grey color wasn't available for the modern jumbo lounger. However, upon arrival, I received an "ivory" lounger that looks identical to the modern jumbo lounger but in white. If I knew I would be sent the white version, I would have shopped elsewhere. To resolve this, I'd need the lounger in grey/faux rabbit fur or a cover. Looking at covers online, they are as expensive as the lounger itself. Given that this was meant to be a significant Christmas gift and a costly purchase for me, I really need a solution before Christmas. Due to health reasons, I can't easily shop in person. I recently upgraded to an executive membership to test it out, marking this as my first major buy with it.

This is my second experience in 3 weeks dealing with the same issue at the Peterborough, ON store. The display freezer advertised a salmon on sale for $22.99, but I was charged $29.99 at the till. When I brought this to customer service's attention, they claimed I had the wrong product despite it being below the displayed price. I believe accountability lies with the store for putting out the wrong brand. I felt frustrated as customer service directed me back to the display case and mentioned the Scanner Price Policy. While I understand there might be exceptions, I urge for better training for the staff. My time is valuable too, and being asked to wait in a new line to return the item felt inconvenient. Customer service should aim for better consideration in such situations.

Costco is reportedly considering barring unvaccinated individuals from their premises. I urge you to rethink this stance. Some people have valid reasons for not getting vaccinated, as they have witnessed the negative impacts it has had on loved ones. I personally know two family members facing severe side effects after their vaccinations. The long-term effects of the vaccine remain unknown, and there are documented cases of fatalities. If Costco enforces a vaccination requirement, I will have to reconsider my shopping habits. This change would have a significant impact on my life, and I will accept the consequences of my choice, just as you will. Thank you. - Liz N.

Hello there! Yesterday, my daughter picked up her eyeglasses at the Costco store in Calgary. I'm currently in the UK attending to a sick relative. Unfortunately, when she tried to make a purchase without her own card, she was not allowed. While I understand this policy, the staff's response was far from appropriate. Instead of politely explaining the situation, they yelled at and embarrassed her in front of other customers before motioning her away. This behavior was unacceptable, and my daughter was left in tears. Customers around her were equally shocked. I believe that the staff at this location could benefit from additional customer service training. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I'm Ming Xuan Ren, and my executive member card number is [redacted]09. I have not yet received my reward from last year. Both my daughter and I share the card, with me as the primary cardholder having paid $[redacted] in January [redacted], and my daughter also paid $[redacted] for the renewal a month ago. Despite our payments, we have not received last year's reward. I raised this issue with customer service at [redacted] King George Blvd in Surrey, BC, three weeks ago. A middle-aged lady with short blond hair assured us of a refund, which we never received. Following up on March 6th, a young black lady filled out a form for us, promising to send the reward, but we are still waiting. The reward amounts to about $60, which is not our primary concern; we value the promise made by your staff and the rights of customers. While becoming an executive cardholder is straightforward, receiving promised rewards seems to be a challenge. I am patiently waiting for a resolution. Thank you.

On February 28, [redacted], I made an order for a Hisense range and dishwasher. After two price adjustments following Costco's price change policy, the items were delivered on March 23, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the Hisense Dishwasher (Item #[redacted]) did not fit properly. I completed a Costco Online Request form for the return and received confirmation. Despite being assured of a return pick-up within 2-3 business days during a call with Collin from Costco Customer Service on April 18, I was later informed by Daniel on April 20 that the form wasn't processed until after my conversation on April 18. Now, 7 days later, I have yet to hear about returning the dishwasher.

I am puzzled why Costco has not expanded into certain border Canadian cities where American shoppers could also benefit.
For instance, Cornwall, Ontario, with a metropolitan area population of over 60,[redacted] people, along with about 20,[redacted] people in Massena, NY on the USA side, totaling around 80,[redacted]-[redacted],[redacted] potential customers. An ideal location on Brookdale Avenue is available, previously occupied by Walmart and Lowe’s.
Costco should consider opening in Cornwall since the nearest Costco is approximately 90km away.
Similarly, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and the twin city of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, could cater to over [redacted],[redacted] people on both sides of the border who would be interested in shopping at Costco.
Even in Sarnia, Ontario-Port Huron, Michigan, with a combined population of over [redacted],[redacted] people, residents should not have to travel to Detroit, MI, or Windsor, Ontario, for the nearest Costco.
It is frustrating that Costco has chosen smaller Canadian cities without considering the potential in these border areas that have substantial urban centers on the American side of the border.

I purchased snow tires from Costco and scheduled installation for Dec. 20th, [redacted], at 6:00PM. I paid the installation fee online. However, last night at 7:00PM, the technician informed me that they couldn't remove one nut, resulting in them not being able to install the snow tires on my car. I returned to the Costco tire center this morning to request a refund for the installation fee, but my request was denied. I find this situation unfair as I paid for a service that I did not ultimately receive.

According to the tracking number, the delivery was dropped off at my front door at 2:43 pm on Friday, February 24th. However, when I arrived home after that time, I didn't find any package from Costco. I attempted to contact UPS for shipping information, but since it was the weekend, I couldn't get through. I tried multiple UPS contact numbers without success. After reviewing my camera footage at the alleged delivery time, there was no sign of a UPS drop-off. UPS instructed me to pick up the package at the designated UPS Access Point, which is unacceptable. Your website promised home delivery. There was no indication during the order process that my address was undeliverable. I urgently insist that you deliver to my home today according to the agreement. Failure to do so will result in legal action and a penalty. Additionally, we have surveillance cameras around our property, ensuring all activities are recorded for potential court proceedings.

I recently made a purchase on the Costco website and was disappointed with the delivery service provided by UPS, which I didn't know was the carrier. I had requested Costco to have the driver contact me during delivery, but this didn't happen. UPS only calls if the shipper requests it, unlike companies such as Amazon and Converse Shoes who automatically have the driver call. Living in a large building, missing a call from the driver results in missed deliveries. Despite reaching out to Costco, I wasn't able to resolve this issue and missed my delivery once again, leading to my decision to cancel the order. I hope the management will be informed about my experience. Thank you.

My couches were delivered, but the delivery drivers informed me that the larger one was too tall to fit in the service elevator. I requested them to leave it in the lobby for me to arrange for transportation to the 8th floor. However, they suggested ordering the same couch two inches shorter, which was not possible. I am interested in repurchasing the items and will organize someone to carry them to my apartment from the lobby. Unfortunately, the items are no longer available online. If they are still in stock, I would like to repurchase them.

While leaving the Costco store on Ogilvie Street in Ottawa, I was unexpectedly struck from behind by a platform cart propelled by a man who quickly vanished. The cart was carrying a large refrigerator, obstructing his view. Despite my subsequent discomfort, I managed to stand, return to my vehicle, and drive home. As time passed, it became evident that I had sustained significant injuries. Medical evaluations and treatments confirmed that my pain and decreased physical abilities were the result of a major impact. I can provide documentation from specialists supporting these findings. Costco is accountable for not preventing the customer from posing a danger. At 81 years old, I have endured a drastic decline in my quality of life following the incident. I believe I am entitled to compensation for the suffering I have endured for almost a year. Please advise me on the appropriate procedure for submitting a formal claim.

As a loyal Costco customer, I wanted to share my recent disappointing experience with a staff member at the Richmond Hill store entrance. I intended to return a product with a receipt, but due to a long line, I decided to postpone. To my surprise, I was informed that I couldn't enter with the item. When I suggested leaving it with the staff, my request was denied. The only options given were to return the item or return to my car.
My primary reason for coming was to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy. The lack of empathy and rudeness displayed by the Costco staff was unexpected.
I would appreciate it if management could address this matter. I have always believed in making things easier for people and was taken aback by this encounter at a respected company like Costco.

I bought 500g of Stonefire Naan Dippers Original flatbreads with a Best Before date of 23/07/27. I opened the container for the first time yesterday, July 25th, and found green mold and fuzziness on the pieces. I do not plan to visit Costco again for a few weeks as it's 2 hours away. Hello, I bought a Roomba j8 from Costco in late August and began using it on September 9, [redacted]. At first, it effectively removed surface dirt and dog hair, but recently, it has been leaving a lot of hair behind and missing cleaning some areas. I've attempted to reset the map, changed the bag, and cleaned it after each use. However, it seems to be unable to consistently clean my house. Can I return it to Costco?
