I just went through the drive-thru at Cook Out in Lenoir, NC [redacted] at 9:10 PM, so it was just a few minutes ago. Firstly, the woman who took my order was rude right from the beginning just because I was not sure what I wanted. I ordered a cheddar style burger with Cajun wrap fries, a chicken strip tray with Cajun wrap fries, a BLT, 5-piece nuggets, 2 large fries, and a piece of cheesecake. However, instead, they gave me a tray with two corndogs in it, another tray with a corndog and fries, hush puppies, and two small fries - not what I ordered. When I asked for sauce for my strips, the woman rolled her eyes and practically threw them at me; most of them hit the ground instead of my hand. My whole visit was horrible, and it's sad because I love Cook Out. If this is how your employees act, I don't know if I'll be going back. Also, they never gave me a receipt.

On Tuesday, October 12th, [redacted], my husband and I visited the Cookout drive-thru on East Main Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina, between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. We ordered two barbecue plates with hush puppies, French fries, slaw, and drinks. Unfortunately, the food tasted sour and made my husband sick with nausea and vomiting shortly after eating. When I contacted the restaurant, I was offered a replacement by a lady named Linda who identified herself as a manager. However, when we visited the drive-thru again, another employee, Linda, refused to provide a replacement due to the lack of a receipt. I asked to speak to the assistant store manager, Alicia, who also declined to help, questioning the validity of my claim. I am extremely dissatisfied with Cookout's customer service and their lack of concern for our experience. I have reached out to the headquarters and am awaiting a response regarding the replacement of our order. I am disappointed with the treatment we received and hope for a resolution soon. Thank you.

I visited Cook Out on Jones Sausage Road in Raleigh, NC. I ordered a big double with chili cheese fries and a strawberry, banana, and pineapple milkshake. Upon seeing something brown on the lip of my cup, I informed the cashier. A young man with black and white beads in his hair transferred the milkshake from one cup to another in front of other customers. Unsure if it was mine, I asked for a refund. The cashier directed me to wait for the manager who turned out to be the same person who made my shake. After a wait, I requested the manager again, and another individual issued a refund. I observed that no one wore gloves until I requested the refund. The customer service experience fell short of my expectations.
