I am a Continental Tire employee based in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A few months ago, I purchased four DWS06 Extreme Contact tires with Sport Plus Technology for my wife's car, sized [redacted]/40 ZR 18. Shortly after installation and alignment with less than [redacted] miles driven, one rear tire exploded during my wife's morning commute, requiring me to replace it with a spare. I bought two additional tires to match the set. Despite the inconvenience, I chose not to pursue the warranty process due to the time and cost involved. However, I now have another tire with a bulging sidewall on the front passenger side, making it the second failure within three months. This experience has left me disappointed and embarrassed, as the quality issues discovered are concerning. I am hesitant to continue using Continental tires on our family vehicle and would prefer to explore other brands. I have taken proper care of the tires, addressing any alignment or suspension issues promptly. Good morning. I am Mohammad Soheili living in Plano, Texas. I purchased four new Continental tires from Sears in Plano. The tires were said to have a 70,[redacted]-mile warranty when I bought them, with my odometer reading 43,[redacted] miles. Now, my car's odometer is at 59,[redacted] miles, but the tires fail the inspection due to significant wear. The Sears manager mentioned that Continental's bankruptcy led them to discontinue assistance, suggesting I seek help from another company. I urgently need to replace these tires. Dear Concerned,
On 23.12.[redacted], I purchased 04 Ms Continental tires from Sindal Tyres Sales & Service located at 6, Gurudhwara Shopping Centre, Channi, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Unfortunately, after just 10 days and [redacted] km, one tire got damaged on 12.01.[redacted]. I have attached photos for your review. During the period from 28.12.[redacted] to 08.01.[redacted], while I was in Amritsar, Punjab, my car was parked in Vadodara.
When I bought the tires, I was assured by Sindal that any damages would be replaced by the company at no extra cost. However, I have not received any response from them so far. Though I spoke with Mr. Simranjit Singh, the Area Manager of Continental tires in Surat, he has not been able to resolve my issue or provide any updates.
My damaged tire is still at Sindal Tyres, and they have not addressed my concerns. As a Continental tires customer, I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter and taking action against Sindal (Continental Tire distributor) and the Continental Area Manager to address the issue. I bought a tire for my BMW 3 Series GT in January [redacted] from Gurgaon, Haryana - [redacted], India. After only 5 months, I noticed my tire is losing rubber and has cracks in several places. I raised this concern where I made the purchase, but they have not given me a satisfactory solution. After researching online, I suspect my tire's manufacturing date has been altered. I wanted to let you know about an issue I encountered after purchasing tires from your brand.
I purchased 4 Continental tires ([redacted] 55 R 17) for my Toyota Innova Crysta from New Bharath Tyres India Pvt. Ltd on 21st November [redacted] in Ernakulam, Kerala. Despite choosing your brand due to good reviews, one of the back tires developed a bulge on the outer side less than a month after purchase.
The tire dealer was unable to assist and suggested contacting the company for a resolution.
I am looking forward to a positive response and appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

A Continental representative helped me locate a replacement tire at NTB in Bowie, MD, 40 miles away. My appointment was set for 12:00 p.m. Upon arrival, the management initially wanted me to reschedule, even though I had confirmed the appointment the day before. After a 3+ hour wait, they mounted the tire incorrectly and carelessly placed my spare on top of my personal items. Two days wasted due to poor service and disregard for the warranty!
Today, I contacted them regarding the issue, and they arranged for the tire to be redone at a closer NTB location. I now have to spend more hours waiting for a redo by a different employee. It would be reasonable for NTB to have a policy in place to compensate customers for such incompetence, time wasted, and inconvenience.
My recommendation is for NTB to address these issues and offer compensation for customers who experience similar situations.

A Continental representative arranged for a replacement tire at an NTB location 40 miles away in Bowie, MD, with a scheduled appointment for 12:00 p.m. Upon arrival, there was initially confusion with the management requiring a return visit. After a 3+ hour wait, one tire was mounted incorrectly. Following a call today, arrangements were made with a closer NTB location for the tire to be redone, resulting in another lengthy wait. A compensation policy should be established to address such poor service, incompetence, and time wasted by customers.
Suggestion: Implement a compensation policy for customers inconvenienced by such errors and delays.

I mistakenly purchased four Sport Contact 5P warm weather tires instead of the Sport Contact 5P All Season tires back in November 18, [redacted]. Not only are these tires unsuitable for Wisconsin winters, but one of the rear tires has developed a bulge on the sidewall with only [redacted] miles on it, as noted during a service at my Lincoln dealership on June 6th. The remaining tread is at 5/32". I am interested in purchasing the correct tires, such as the Extreame Contact DWS06 for my Lincoln MKC which requires [redacted]/40/20 tires. I've been facing challenges with Fitment Industries, the company I purchased my wheel and tire package from. After dealing with mounting and balancing issues for the past two years, I recently had my car inspected elsewhere. It turns out that all four DWS 06+ tires are out of round. Despite having driven less than 10,[redacted] miles since purchasing the tires, this has become quite a frustrating situation. I'm looking for a resolution to make this right. I purchased 5 Continental tires from Kirti Tyres, a dealer in Kamrej, Surat. Unfortunately, after only [redacted] kilometers, two of the tires had issues. I handed over the tires for inspection on June 26, [redacted], but despite numerous attempts, I have not received a clear report. I tried contacting customer care, but no one responded. I received a call from +[redacted]28, but the caller did not provide their name, spoke rudely in Hindi, and then hung up. I am disappointed with the lack of professionalism from Continental's customer care representative.
