I visited your Gessner store to purchase a bottle of rum. I had trouble deciding between 2 pints or a [redacted] ml bottle due to not having my glasses. I asked a friend to get them from the car. While comparing prices, an employee approached me. I explained I was comparing prices and proceeded to choose the [redacted] ml bottle, also grabbing some coke. As we tried to reach the soft drinks aisle, we were blocked by employees who seemed to suspect us of theft. Despite asking to pass, the female employee insisted the drinks were moved to the register area. I left the rum, circled around, picked up the 2-liter coke, and noticed a male employee by the exit. Both employees watched us until I paid. I've never experienced such treatment and found the employees' behavior unacceptable. If theft prevention is a concern, hiring security guards may be more appropriate than intimidating customers. The lack of professionalism and excessive suspicion have led me to reconsider my loyalty to Specs after being a customer since the 80s. - JB
