I have arranged payments with Maryland State taxes and been punctual. However, I received a collection notice for the payments I made. After contacting [redacted], they acknowledged my payments but couldn't explain the collection notice. They provided [redacted]. Upon calling, I waited 30 minutes for a response instructing me to leave my details, promising a return call in 24-48 hours. Frustrated by the lack of immediate assistance, I asked to speak with someone and was abruptly disconnected around 10:45 on 09/06/[redacted]. The experience with md tax service has been disappointing, lacking prompt and satisfactory customer service.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inform you that on July 23, the Comptroller of Maryland mistakenly charged my account five transactions of $[redacted].35 each, totaling $[redacted].75. This led to an overdraft in my bank account, and I was further charged for two overdraft transactions at $35 each, totaling $70.00. Surprisingly, on July 26, the Comptroller of Maryland acknowledged their error and credited my account six times the initial amount of $[redacted].35. However, they mistakenly charged my account the same amount twice again. My CPA has confirmed that no payments were expected to the Comptroller of Maryland. I am requesting an explanation for the erroneous charge of $[redacted].35 and immediate reimbursement of $70.00 to cover the overdraft fees incurred due to the Comptroller's mistake.

I would like to address the issue I am currently facing with the Comptroller's office. I have adhered to our payment agreement diligently by making timely payments. I possess records of every payment made until the present month. However, I recently conversed with an individual who attempted to alter the agreement by incorporating two additional years. I have submitted taxes for those two years in full compliance with the amounts specified by the tax preparer. Therefore, the discrepancy regarding the amount owed is unfounded since my latest payment plan did not consider my dependents or deductions. My compliance with the agreement was solely due to the hold on renewing my license. I earnestly request a conversation to resolve this matter promptly.
