I decided to hire Colonial Van Lines to assist with my furniture move in an effort to reduce the stress of moving, but unfortunately, it has been a challenging experience. Originally slated for delivery between August 1st to August 8th, I faced delays and uncertainty regarding the whereabouts of my belongings. Upon reaching out to the company, I eventually discovered that my furniture has been sitting in Chicago since July 29th, despite my move being from Ohio to Florida – a clear mix-up in directions. I was under the impression that my items were being transported directly, not placed into storage multiple times before reaching me. The company claimed to specialize in moving, not storing items. Their misrepresentation has resulted in unnecessary complications and potential damage to my furniture. I am disappointed and seeking assistance with this issue.
