I attended the game on 7/23/[redacted] and requested a scoreboard message and photo for my daughter's 18th birthday. However, despite receiving an email confirming that the message would be displayed by the third inning, it was not shown by the time we left in the fifth inning. I am dissatisfied with the service provided. I have left three voicemails for Antonia and one for Jamie regarding this issue. I believe the employees responsible for the scoreboard message have deprived my daughter and me of a special moment. I am requesting a refund of $[redacted] for the message and I still expect to receive the $15 photo I ordered. I am hopeful for a prompt response, or I will have to dispute the charges.

I initially decided not to bring our special needs child to the game. Customer service assured us a room was available for us in suite [redacted]. We traveled from Nebraska, rented an apartment, and attended the game with an additional ticket. Upon arrival, we settled in the suite and managed to calm our child. As we went out to get food, we were unexpectedly informed that eating in the room was not allowed, and we could only stay for a maximum of 15 minutes. It took us that long to settle our child for a meal, and the staff's lack of empathy forced us to exit. Due to our child's condition, he couldn't sit in the stadium, and we missed the game. Disheartened, we returned to the apartment and decided to head home in the morning. The experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially after investing $1,[redacted] for this trip based on the assurance of having suitable accommodations for our child. It's upsetting that we were unaware of the restrictions, as we could have chosen a more accommodating venue.

Our father is Alvin (Avey) Johnson, a former baseball player for the Yankees and White Sox in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Unfortunately, his baseball career was cut short when he was drafted into the Army during the Korean War and injured his pitching arm. Despite this setback, he has continued to stay involved in sports through umpiring and refereeing in Iowa for over 50 years. Now at 91 years old, he is excited about the upcoming Field of Dreams game between the White Sox and Yankees in Dyersville, Iowa, where he was born and raised. Dad has a wealth of baseball stories, including facing legendary players like Bob Turley, Mickey Mantle, and Pat Seerey. One of his favorite memories is striking out Seerey in a high-pressure game. Residents of New Hampton often gather around him to listen to his tales from the diamond. We would love the chance to take him to the Field of Dreams game to share his experiences with fellow baseball enthusiasts. Maybe we can even persuade him to don his vintage White Sox uniform for the occasion. Sincerely, Danita Johnson Winter

Trades involving top players like Avisail Garcia can be disappointing. Avisail Garcia's impact with the Tampa Bay Rays was notable, hitting a powerful home run in a key game. Reflecting on past experiences, memories of watching baseball legends like Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams from the bleachers in the 1950s bring back a sense of nostalgia. Growing up in the west side of Chicago during the 1950s allowed for witnessing memorable moments like the [redacted] AL pennant victory by the "go-go" Sox under manager Lopez. Players such as Aparacio, Fox, and Wynn left a lasting impression on fans during that successful season. - Frank Silovsky, Oklahoma City, OK

Good morning or afternoon! I am associated with Trinity Services, a nonprofit organization that offers services and support to individuals with mental disabilities. In our woodworking facility, we engage in wood projects while tuning in to Chicago White Sox games. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 safety measures, we fell short of our goal to attend a White Sox game in the [redacted] season. Our team works diligently from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. We are exploring ways to make it to a game for some avid White Sox fans at Trinity. Despite our fundraising challenges, we have resumed public sales and are currently working on a modern bench. We are looking forward to following every game and highlight of the season with great enthusiasm as baseball returns. Best regards, Phoenix Staudinger

I wanted to inform the White Sox customer service team about our experience in a suite on August 14th for our granddaughter's 14th birthday. We had requested a message saying "Happy Birthday Annabelle" to be displayed on the birthday screen over a week in advance. Unfortunately, the message did not appear, despite the efforts of a gentleman who tried to help by making calls. We were disappointed as we eagerly waited for it during the game. We usually have a positive experience with the suites, with great food, and appreciate the service. As owners of S&T Provisions, we value customer feedback to improve our business and prevent similar issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Our suite was reserved under Mr. and Mrs. Giaretta from S&T Provisions.
