Hello,
I am experiencing ongoing cooling issues with the 4-door fridge in my [redacted] Montana camper. Despite multiple visits to the Camping World dealer, the problem persists. During my latest camping trip, the fridge displayed inconsistent temperatures, reaching as high as 50° in the box and 42° in the freezer before returning to normal once connected to electricity. Another occurrence saw the temperature rising to 54° from 34° within a day, despite no apparent issues with electricity or external factors. Following a series of troubleshooting steps, including adjusting settings and switching to manual gas mode, the temperature eventually stabilized. However, the problem has recurred intermittently, jeopardizing our travel plans. Despite contacting Dometic and having insurance coverage, a lasting solution remains elusive. I am contemplating whether a new fridge is necessary.
Best,
K Klaus

I purchased a camper from Camping World in Syracuse, NY on 10/09/18. The finance person, Jim Detota, included insurance, roadside assistance, and paint protection without my knowledge, totaling almost $7,[redacted]. Despite my expressed preference for AAA insurance, he misleadingly added these services while focusing on monthly payments, never fully explaining the documents. Despite promises to remove these charges, I haven't received a response from Jim after signing papers to rectify the situation. It's clear he prioritized his commission over honesty. I provided $3,[redacted] in cash, aiming to lower my payment, making the unauthorized additions puzzling. I'm disappointed by this experience and hesitant to recommend Camping World. I seek assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you, Kim VanStrien.

On 7 June [redacted], I visited Camping World in Harrisburg, PA to collect my new [redacted] Mallard M-28. After spending several hours there, I encountered some issues with missing parts, rusty bolts, and most importantly, a damaged power cable due to the tech's error during the setup. This has resulted in safety concerns as some of the lights are not functioning properly, making it risky to tow the camper. Despite notifying Rodger McKinley about the problems immediately, I am now facing a lack of response from him. It is crucial that these issues are addressed promptly as I cannot use the camper safely in its current state. I seek assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that Camping World fulfills their commitment to deliver the camper in proper condition. Thank you for your help.

On June 18, [redacted], I purchased a HRTG JK SFA ESP 52IN jackknife sofa. Unfortunately, the item arrived severely damaged. XPOLogistics delivered it with a note on the shipping packing list indicating the damage. I have been in contact with Dustin Fugate at [redacted] and Jan at the Woodstock GA center regarding a replacement. The sofa color is no longer available, and there is no replacement option. I proposed keeping the damaged item in exchange for a 70% refund of $[redacted].09, but Camping World offered only $30, which I declined, requesting a full refund instead. However, I have not received the refund or any response from Dustin. My original offer of a 70% refund still stands as I believe it is fair considering the item's condition. I am awaiting clarification on whether the 70% discount or at least the refund of $[redacted].09 will be processed.

I am unsure of how to proceed. I purchased an Alpha Wolf camper from Camping World in Thornburg, Virginia, but encountered various issues. After being informed the camper wasn't ready the day before the pickup, upon arrival, we found discrepancies, damage, missing spare tire, and malfunctioning hot water heater. The staff was impolite and suggested we go to New Jersey for repairs. I am facing difficulty getting the damage fixed due to the purchase location being in Virginia, while I reside in Pennsylvania. I am highly distressed by this situation and would appreciate speaking with someone to address these concerns. Kindly contact me at [redacted].
