My home phone is not functioning due to the SCDOT grass cutter knocking down the pedestal, causing water to get into the line. This issue has persisted for two weeks despite my previous reports. I received a bill for the service, but it's frustrating that service isn't being provided. The ongoing problem with the line to my house has affected my internet connection as well. - Bernie Richburg

I am experiencing issues with my phone line. Although a repair technician came to fix the no dial tone problem, my friends are still unable to call me and are getting a message saying my phone is not in service. Brightspeed wants to charge me $99 for another service visit, even though the problem seems to be on their end. Comparatively, I never encountered such problems with CenturyLink, and I strongly advise against choosing Brightspeed for phone services. Thank you, Sandra D.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with my internet connection. The service is intermittent, lasting only a few hours at a time. I have been unable to reach customer service or speak to a live person for assistance. Following a frustratingly long wait time, a representative disconnected the call when I began to voice my concerns. The chat function on the website is also not functioning properly. I have attempted to restart my modem using both the automated system and manually, resulting in slow service. Unfortunately, my area has limited internet providers, and I feel stuck relying on this unreliable service.

Following a storm on March 3, [redacted], our landline telephone was affected, with a loud roar making it unusable. After reporting the issue, a technician visited on Tuesday and promised to return on Wednesday for repairs. Although he fixed the initial problem, our phone has since gone completely dead. Despite multiple online chats reassuring me that the problem would be fixed, on March 10, [redacted], I received a text stating that the appointment needed to be rescheduled due to access issues, even though we were home all day awaiting their arrival. I was promised a visit today, but as it is Saturday, it seems unlikely. How can I ensure my telephone gets repaired promptly?

Account number [redacted]: Ever since the switch from CenturyLink, I've encountered a series of problems. Firstly, I have trouble signing into security features on my email. I have resorted to clicking "Remind Me Later" to access my email. I can't sign in using the alternative method as it requires sending a tweet message which I don't receive. Instead, you could try sending the message to my wife's cell phone at [redacted]. Consequently, I have lost access to @ease (McAfee Security) that I subscribe to monthly, leaving me vulnerable to hacking. Secondly, following the installation of a new modem, I am unable to print documents as the option goes directly to save instead of printing.

I am having difficulty getting Brightspeed to set up fiber service at my newly built house. Despite being in an area where fiber is available and my neighbors have the service, the customer service reps are struggling to locate my address. Two Brightspeed specialists were supposed to verify the existence of my home, but there has been no progress beyond that point, with cases being dropped or canceled without any follow-up.

I am extremely dissatisfied with BRIGHTSPEED. We have been loyal customers since 12/[redacted], but the service has drastically declined since the company took over. While the internet service has been decent, allowing me to finally access my unread emails, the phone service is horrendous. Calls do not go through, are frequently dropped, there is constant static, wrong numbers, and a continuous online roar in the background. This seems to be a common issue among others I know with traditional phone service. Despite hoping for improvements post-merger, the situation has not improved. I plan to escalate this matter to the relevant authorities regarding the subpar service provided by BRIGHTSPEED.

I had a bad experience with Brightspeed where I made an appointment on the 1st of the month, but they never showed up. When I inquired about paying cash for a modem to save money on my bill instead of paying $15 a month, they agreed to send one and charge $[redacted] on my next bill. However, the modem never arrived, and the charge did not show up on my bill. I am eager to save money on my bills, and I am disappointed by their lack of follow-through. How can I obtain the modem I requested from Brightspeed?

We had our DirecTV and Brightspeed services bundled together. In August, we switched to Spectrum. I reached out to Brightspeed and received a UPS Ground label to return all equipment which was received by Brightspeed on August 22, [redacted]. Despite this, DirecTV is billing me for their equipment, which was returned to your company as instructed by Brightspeed. I need assistance in resolving this issue.
