I am in the process of applying for a temporary 1 visa. I have received letters from my director on our company letterhead confirming my employment and commitment to leave Brazil once my project there is finished. However, the letters were sent to me via email. I've been informed that these need to be notarized and legalized, with my director's signature attested to by a notary public. Alternatively, I can bring an original signed copy for them to notarize a photocopy. I am unsure if my boss needs to visit a notary in person as there isn't one nearby. This question is critical as I need to bring all necessary documents from Hawaii to Los Angeles by next Tuesday without any potential delays. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
