I purchased a set of 1/2"- 1-1/4" Nail Strike drill bits, and unfortunately, the first nail I encountered damaged the bit. I was drilling through studs for wiring when I hit a Hitachi .93 x 2.25 nail. These nails are not tough, as I can easily cut them with my lineman's pliers. I suspect that the bits I received were not properly tempered or hardened because they were easily damaged. Lowes declined to exchange the set due to the damage. I have used all the bits except the 1/2 inch and the 1-1/4 inch, as the 7/8 inch bit I needed became too dull even after I sharpened it. Given my positive experience with Bosch power tools, I was disappointed in the quality of these bits. I have found a competitor's spade bits to be more durable than these "Nail Strike" bits. I hope this was just a one-off and that you can provide me with a correctly tempered and hardened replacement set. The fact that I could sharpen it with a standard mill file indicates how soft these bits are, as a properly hardened bit should not be as easily damaged by nails.

I have been using your professional 18V Li cordless tools for many years. Last year, I purchased a GDR 18V-[redacted] impact driver to replace my old brushed motor model. However, I have been extremely disappointed with its performance compared to my colleagues' Makita, Dewalt, and Hitachi drivers. The impact driver struggles to drive 5 x 70mm screws into timber and plywood, and it is noticeably slow with 5 x 100mm screws into timber. I am concerned about the declining power and performance of your products - it seems like they might be designed to meet a lower price point. I am now considering switching to your competitors' products in the future. Regards, Garry.
