Bitdefender locked me out of my computer last night. When I tried to pay my T-Mobile bill, a suspicious web page popped up claiming both T-Mobile and I had been hacked. It was obviously fake with pixelated graphics and references to CNN reports. Google search revealed the claim about T-Mobile being hacked on Tuesday was from [redacted]. Removing Bitdefender took me until 2:00 in the morning, and despite their assurance that it was uninstalled, they later admitted there was spyware left behind. They promised to email me an uninstaller for the remaining spyware. I have all the correspondence saved in my email and took screenshots of the entire incident.

I reached out to Bitdefender via text before the May 5th deadline to cancel my credit card purchase due to not recognizing Bitdefender's email address ending. Following that, I received another text confirming the correct ending, albeit different from what I had seen before. Subsequently, I researched Bitdefender online and came across this site. I wish to renew my coverage, but given my identity theft concerns, I seek to do it over the phone. Could you confirm if the number I dialed, [redacted], is the most appropriate to reach you? I appreciate your assistance and time.
