Bernina Customer Service Issues

Hello, I own a Bernini [redacted] electronic sewing machine. Recently, when I tried to use it, I encountered an issue with the foot pedal not working properly. Upon inspection, I noticed that the top piece, where the springs are located, came apart, and the plastic components inside seem to have broken due to brittleness. As the foot pedal is the only way to operate the machine, I am currently unable to use it. I reached out to a local dealer who unfortunately cannot fix the problem. I am now looking into the possibility of finding a replacement foot pedal that is compatible with my machine. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am experiencing a recurring issue with the thread catcher board warning on my machine. Despite multiple trips to the shop, the problem persists. The small spring that was initially removed has been replaced, only to go missing again. The shop owner has advised against using the board, which defeats its purpose. Other dealers suggest it might be a sensor problem, but this inquiry has been disregarded. This ongoing problem, in addition to other issues, makes me feel that this machine is just not reliable. As a long-time Bernina customer, it's disappointing that this model has caused me more trouble than any other machine I've owned in the past 45 years.

I signed up for the promotion offering 0% financing for 60 months on purchases over $[redacted]. However, I encountered an issue as I didn't receive my credit card details immediately. Despite receiving an account number, the website didn't accept it. I'm looking for a representative to assist me in either using the account for the promotion or canceling the credit card. I hope to avail of the offer as I couldn't access it without the necessary card information. Bernina should consider allowing me to benefit from the promotion upon making my first purchase, given the delay in providing my card details.

I have a vintage Bernina Record [redacted] sewing machine from June 28, [redacted] that needs a new foot control pedal and other worn parts. My local Bernina dealer said they can't fix it due to its age, but I've found sources for parts. The main concern is the olive green foot pedal with the marking FT6-2A6. I want to repair it to have as a backup. Any suggestions on where to find assistance would be appreciated.

I own a Bernette Deco [redacted] and have struggled with its compatibility with various USB sticks in terms of size and functionality. Despite being temperamental, the machine works wonderfully when the USB port and stick cooperate. I am looking for multiple reliable USB sticks that will allow me to download designs from my computer to my machine. While I understand this model is no longer in production, I value its performance and invested significantly in it before retirement. I attempted to install the Bernina Embroidery Software 9 but ran into issues following the instructions. Placing the USB thumb drive yielded no results, and even trying the setup.exe led to the same empty drive message on my computer. Despite various problems with Bernina machines in the past, this experience has been the final frustration for me. It has left me in tears as sewing is meant to be enjoyable, which is currently not the case with my Bernina machine. The lack of customer service from Bernina has only added to my dismay. If it weren't for my Bernina dealer, whom I appreciate working with, I would consider switching to a German brand of embroidery sewing machines called Gafft.
