Bell Aliant Customer Service Issues

I called Aliant on both October 6th and 7th to update my VISA card information, but was informed that this can no longer be done over the phone. The representative was not helpful and instructed me to update the details online. I am uncomfortable with sharing my VISA information online for security reasons. Today, when I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was connected to Jonathon (employee # EZ08662 in the Philippines) who reiterated that updating VISA details online or through the bank is mandatory. I prefer to continue paying with my VISA for the benefits. I reached out to CIBC for advice, and they were shocked by the poor customer service from Aliant. I have been a loyal customer for over 40 years and this is the first time I have encountered such unhelpful behavior from an employee. It reflects poorly on the company's reputation. I would appreciate alternative ways to update my VISA information besides using the internet.
