I purchased the Optimisation Suite in December [redacted] on a 2-year subscription. However, I noticed that the system clean-up and virus protection features have reverted to the free version in the last 3 months. The original activation code has expired, and without any available contact information for Avira, I reached out to your website for assistance. I'm having trouble logging into Avira. I can't access my license information; instead, I'm being prompted to buy another product. Despite changing my password and master password, I keep receiving an error message saying to try again later. At 70 years old, I find it challenging when things like this happen. I've been stuck in this loop for days. I renewed my product for another year, but I'm unable to do anything with it. Please, I need assistance with this issue.

Hello and good day. Unfortunately, I only found out today that it concerns Avira. I have been in contact with PayPal since last year, and they were supposed to help me. I had to send a death certificate and various other documents to PayPal. My husband passed away in April [redacted], and I am still not being assisted, and payments are still being deducted. Therefore, in December last year, I reversed a transaction just to find out who was debiting from my account. Due to data protection reasons, PayPal did not want to provide me with any information. I don't understand why I should send a death certificate, inheritance certificate, ID, etc., to PayPal? I found out by chance today that it is a virus protection service. I purchased Avira Pro from Google Play on September 21 to address Adware and Malware issues on my phone. Despite uninstalling some apps, Avira did not fully resolve the problems. I couldn't cancel my subscription and had difficulty getting a refund. I intended to use the VPN feature, but Avira doesn't recognize my purchase of the full Updated package. But there is no button for me to click. There is also no phone number to call. On 28.12.[redacted], I purchased the Avire Prime product. I received the download link via email and installed it. However, the program did not work as expected. There was no response, and it seemed to be "frozen". Nothing was functioning. I tried multiple times, but the issue persisted. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, only to end up with the Free Version because the software is only activated through a direct download from Avira (which I discovered later). Now, I can't access customer service or support since I am not using the paid version of Avira. It's frustrating.

I am a user from South Africa. I recently downloaded and installed Avira Free Antivirus [redacted] on my desktop PC running Windows 10 64-bit. I am facing an issue with updating the antivirus through the internet connection. Despite searching for solutions online, I have been unable to resolve it. After learning about the manual update option via the Fusebundle Generator, I attempted to follow the instructions by creating a VDF Fusebundle. However, I encountered an obstacle as the Avira Antivirus I have does not seem to feature a manual update option, unlike what was mentioned in the guidance I found. When I try to update the antivirus by clicking "Update antivirus" on the control center icon in the bottom taskbar of Windows, I receive an error message indicating the update failed. Although I consulted the Avira support document on manual updates using the Fusebundle, it refers to Avira Internet Security's manual update feature, which the current version I have does not seem to include. I am in need of assistance on how to manually update my Avira antivirus using the Fusebundle. Please advise.

I am reaching out with a concern regarding my brother-in-law, David C., who has a learning disability. Recently, he faced computer safety issues, so I recommended he try the free version of Avira. Unfortunately, David accidentally purchased the premium version and £85.90 was deducted from his PayPal account on 19th February. Being on benefits, he cannot afford such expenses. I guided him to cancel the subscription on 25th March, hoping for a refund, which has not materialized yet. I fear he missed the 30-day cancellation window, but I wonder if Avira could make an exception considering his disability.

I noticed that Avira debited $[redacted].24 from my bank account on 04/16/[redacted] through an electronic funds transfer. This is the second year they have done so for a product I no longer use. Despite canceling with Avira last year and being assured no further charges would occur, I find myself in the same situation. Their customer service line is not available 24/7, directing me to call during business hours. I advise others not to provide Avira with credit or debit card information as payments seem to recur even after cancellation. Additionally, last year I faced difficulties getting a full refund from Avira. I intend to contact the Better Business Bureau about this issue.

I recently purchased a new computer but encountered difficulties adding it to my account. When attempting to add the new computer, I was only offered to buy a new Avira subscription, despite losing two years due to an update that removed my original subscription. Customer service was unhelpful in addressing this. I realized the mistake in my records three years later and decided to try Avira again. Although I still have it on my other computer, I need to replace a fan before using it online. I intended to extend my subscription but ended up losing the remaining time. I have almost a year of McAfee on my other computer and was interested in the Avira VPN for the new one, but faced issues with the login and lost the free VPN time. Despite the renewal service and previous customer service problems, I wish to resolve the lost service and access the prime service I am entitled to. I will monitor my email intermittently until the fan is replaced next week. I will then decide whether to continue with McAfee for one computer and switch antivirus on the other. Kindly note that the 24/7 phone number listed on the website is only available during Central European Time business hours.

I am having trouble installing the Avira Antivirus Pro that I purchased online at a special 97% discount. After clicking 'Agree & Install', I receive an error message saying "Your installation couldn't finish" after about 15 seconds. I tried the suggested troubleshooting steps without success. I would appreciate simple instructions on how to successfully install the program. I reside in Potchefstroom, South Africa, and previously used Avira Free Antivirus, recommended by NW University online, until switching to Avira Antivirus Pro. I was unable to find a local supplier after Omni-Comp closed about two years ago, so I temporarily used BitDefender before deciding to go back to Avira. Thank you, Mike Sandham.

I have been a loyal Avira customer for years, renewing near the expiration date each time. Recently, I noticed that Avira was missing from my hard drive and I am unable to locate my serial number or password. Despite this, I keep receiving sales pitches from McAfee urging me to purchase their antivirus software. I attempted to check my Avira program, but to no avail. I am certain I purchased the latest version of Avira, but unfortunately, I can't find any record of it. I am using Avira version 1.12.4 on my Mac. I can successfully run the Quick Scan and Custom Scan without any issues. However, for the last three days, I have been unable to complete the Full Scan. It keeps freezing at approximately 79% progress.
Even after deleting and reinstalling Avira yesterday, the problem persists. I attempted to run the Full Scan again, but it still fails to finish, even when left overnight in Sleep mode. The duration setting remains active, but the Full Scan operation repeatedly fails to complete the test.

I believe someone hacked into my account last Friday. I have been trying to recover it all weekend, even yesterday. They changed my email address to another one of my own and took control of my phone, altering all my passwords. Today, I have noticed a few new email addresses added without my permission, with most of them disappearing shortly after. I suspect the hacker may be deleting them. When I first set up this account, I used all brand new email addresses. I'm desperate to stop this person and would appreciate any help your team can provide. Please contact me at [redacted]. The hacker even made me lose access to the account I had with the VPN. Currently, I am left only with the free service. I recently added a $7.99 deal for another account. On Friday, my account was hacked. I made new emails when I downloaded this app. After waking up from a nap, I discovered that my email address was changed and my Google account was taken over. Today, I changed my emails again. I spent 7 hours on the phone with Xfinity, and the representative mentioned a potential breach. In the last couple of hours, I noticed missing contacts and emails. The system seems to have issues as certain options are unavailable, with a message suggesting they are not working at the moment. I was on hold for 30 minutes, but my call was disconnected after a short 2-minute conversation with a representative, and I didn't receive a callback.

I am encountering an issue with Avira Free Security (current version 1.1.81.8) flagging Reg Organizer software as a threat without providing details. I believe it's a false positive as ChemTable, the software editor, is reputable. I've tried excluding the folder C:\Program Files\Reg Organizer from virus scans, but it still gets quarantined daily. Reinstalling the software daily is frustrating, and I lose all my settings each time. Avira only states "threat detected" without specifying the threat name. I hope this false positive can be resolved promptly.

I purchased and installed Antivirus Pro, but the website shows no subscriptions and my virus protection disappeared. I received an email from a representative outlining steps to resolve the issue. However, upon logging in, I cannot find the "Subscriptions" tab to click on. The dashboard mentions subscriptions on the right but indicates I have none, with no "Install" button available. The only option is "Go to Store," although I have already made the purchase. Additionally, under devices, it suggests installing Avira Antivirus Free, which is not what I want. For Google Chrome users, they recommend clicking on the downloaded file in the bottom left-hand corner.
