Alpine Electronics Customer Service Issues

I need help with my Alpine ILX509 GPS unit. It consistently shows my location incorrectly, sometimes displaying me driving backward, on the lake, or sideways. Despite updating it twice, the issue persists even after Al&Eds in Pasadena, CA, disabled the OBDM temporarily. I am considering switching to a JVC unit and have been advised to contact Alpine tech support, but I have not been successful in reaching them by phone. This is my third Alpine unit, and after investing in additional equipment like the DVR-C320R, front, and back cameras, I am disappointed with the recurring problem and considering alternative options.
