My name is Larry Hill Jr. I recently flew with AirTrans from South Bend, Indiana to Sanford, Florida on the 17th and 30th of November. While my trip down to Florida was smooth and pleasant, my return journey to Michigan encountered an issue with my medical equipment. When trying to board the flight, a staff member named Janique insisted that my medical equipment had to be placed in the cargo hold, despite my concerns about the fragile nature of the equipment and the medications inside. She also attempted to charge me for an extra bag. I was advised by other staff members to contact customer service, but my attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful.
