We were supposed to depart from Kona, Hawaii on March 18, [redacted], at 22:55 on AC545 heading to Vancouver for a connecting flight to Winnipeg. However, upon arriving at the Kona airport 5 hours prior, we discovered that our flights had been canceled. Thankfully, by arriving early, Air Canada representatives were able to reroute us through Honolulu, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, and finally to Winnipeg. Unfortunately, no one had informed me of the flight cancellations beforehand via email or phone. If we hadn't arrived early, we would have been stuck in Kona, causing me to miss work and my granddaughter to miss school. I would appreciate an explanation and an apology for this inconvenience. - Larry I.

I need Air Canada to transfer my flight to Lufthansa. Originally, my wife and I were supposed to fly with Air Canada, but due to an issue, we were switched to Lufthansa for the departing flights. While the arrival flights were transferred correctly, my return flight was not processed under the new airline like my wife's was. Currently, Lufthansa shows my wife on the seat list but do not have record of me. The other airline advised exchanging my ticket and reissuing it under the correct carrier.

I made a reservation for a trip to Cuba in July with TripCentral.ca, including cancellation insurance. Due to the recent events in Cuba, I had to cancel on July 12, [redacted], and received a cancellation confirmation from TripCentral.
Despite this, as of today (Dec 8, [redacted]), I have not received a refund or voucher from either company. TripCentral informed me of a $[redacted] credit, mentioning that the remaining amount should be refunded by Air Canada Vacations.
I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter. If anyone has alternative contact information for Air Canada Vacations besides the 1-[redacted] number, please share. Thank you.

I recently made a booking from Montreal to Punta Cana at Bahia Principe Punta Cana but realized I mistakenly booked 7 days instead of 8. I have been trying to contact the customer service office without success. Despite numerous attempts through calls and emails, I have not been able to address my concern regarding adding an extra day to my reservation. Even when speaking to Visa Infinite Privilege, they were unable to assist me due to booking online. I have diligently tried to rectify this within 24 hours of booking. Despite speaking with multiple agents and being put on hold for hours, I have not been able to make the change. The lack of response and ineffective communication channels have left me frustrated. I urge for prompt assistance in adjusting my flight dates from Feb 28th to Feb 27th while maintaining the return date of March 7th.

I am reaching out regarding Booking # [redacted]1 for Anna Matera. Unfortunately, during my trip to Jamaica, I tested positive for covid-19, resulting in the need to extend my stay. While facing this situation, I was accompanied by my two grandchildren, aged 12 and 14. I encountered challenges with the lack of assistance from the hotel Bahia Principe Grand staff and the Air Canada representative present at the hotel. Fortunately, a kind family we met during our vacation helped ensure my grandchildren safely returned home by contacting my son in Montreal.
After 10 days of isolation, I arranged my return home by purchasing a new ticket as advised by the Air Canada representative. I am now seeking a refund for the unused ticket from my original reservation on March 5, [redacted]. There were difficulties due to the lack of knowledge among hotel staff about Covid-19 regulations, making my stay challenging. I made a reservation with booking number [redacted]0. The flight schedule changed after payment, causing me to miss the flight. I received a credit on my credit card, including the portion paid with 50,[redacted] Aeroplan points (Aeroplan # [redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]). An Air Canada agent, Brie Ojana Ext [redacted], assured me the points would be refunded, but this has not occurred. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this by leaving messages, contacting the agent, and speaking with Air Canada representatives, I have not been able to regain my points. Trying to use the $[redacted] credit for a new flight has also been unsuccessful. I have faced long hold times and unhelpful responses. Due to health issues, my travel plans had to change, and I need the Aeroplan miles reinstated as promised.

We recently experienced a troubling situation with our airport transfer in Mexico. We had booked a private transfer with Canada Transfers but were deceived by a driver claiming to be from their company. Despite our repeated inquiries, the driver insisted he was with Canada Transfers. As we reluctantly got into the van, more passengers were picked up, and it became clear we were not receiving the private transfer we had paid for. The driver continuously lied about various aspects of our transfer, leading to confusion and frustration. Ultimately, it was revealed that the driver was from Air Canada Vacations, not Canada Transfers. We are requesting a refund of $[redacted].00 CAD, along with the tip we paid, totaling $[redacted].70 CAD. This issue stems from the dishonesty of the Air Canada Vacations driver, not Canada Transfers. A formal complaint has been made against the driver, and we urge Air Canada Vacations to address this unacceptable behavior promptly.

I purchased tickets online from New Zealand. My step daughter would like to join us on the trip. The booking kept changing my partner's last name with autocorrect, which needs to match his passport. Additionally, one of my flights is not showing on Aeroplan. I need to reach out to customer service to address these issues, preferably through email since most of their listed phone numbers are not reachable from New Zealand. The Manage By Booking option does not offer a way to combine two bookings or add an extra person to the booking.
