Acme United Corp Customer Service Issues

Hello, I am a regular shopper at Acme every Friday, and the employees usually recognize me. However, during my last visit on 11/9/[redacted], I encountered a frustrating experience. While I bagged my groceries, I realized I had forgotten cat litter and had to step out of line. The cashier seemed more focused on her phone than helping me and didn't notice when I had to leave momentarily. To add to the situation, there was a mix-up with the total when she started ringing up the next customer's items on my bill. It caused a delay and confusion. Additionally, I had purchased $[redacted] worth of groceries to qualify for a free turkey promotion, but I was not informed I needed a coupon until the last minute, which led to another inconvenience. This experience has left me feeling upset, and I am hesitant to return, even though I am a regular lottery customer known by many.

I have been a loyal customer at Tallmadge Acme for many years, always ordering chicken and jo jo's for my grandkids' birthdays. Recently, I had a disappointing experience when I ordered a birthday cake for my grandson's party. Despite requesting a smash cake and being told it would cost extra, it was not included when I picked up the cake. The employee accused me of not ordering it, even though I had clarified the additional charge. When I brought up the issue to the manager, the situation was not handled well. I left without a resolution and felt frustrated by the lack of accountability. In contrast, I mentioned that other stores like Walmart and Giant Eagle have not made such errors in my experience. In the end, I appreciated the efforts of the manager in trying to make amends, but the overall experience left me feeling dissatisfied. I eventually went to Giant Eagle, where they swiftly corrected the mistake and provided excellent customer service.
