I have been trying to contact your technical support for a month with no success. My outside camera has not been working for over 3 months despite two technicians coming out. The technician who was supposed to replace the camera last week canceled and promised to reschedule, but no one showed up. I have not received any follow-up calls. The customer service experience has been extremely poor. The last representative I spoke to seemed irritated and lied about a supervisor contacting me. I am frustrated and considering legal action to address this ongoing issue with my contract. This feedback will also be shared on review platforms like Yelp and the BBB.

I had surveillance cameras installed on Tuesday, January 1, [redacted], and I am very satisfied with the installation. However, there was an issue with the payment. After the installation, I paid the remaining balance of $[redacted].00 using my Capital One MasterCard. Despite explicitly requesting not to charge the same card used for the consultation on 1/13/[redacted], the charge went through. I have spoken with two supervisors on Wednesday, January 20, [redacted], who assured me that Ackerman would remove the $[redacted].00 charge. Unfortunately, the charge is still pending today. I recently contacted Tierra in the billing department, who advised me to contact my Credit Union for assistance in resolving the issue. This situation led to my bank card being declined, causing an embarrassing situation when I couldn't purchase my Insulin due to Ackerman's double billing.

Yesterday, I reached out to the installer regarding my missing keyfob, but I have not received a response yet. I have a couple of additional inquiries. Firstly, why am I unable to view package deliveries at my front door through my doorbell camera? Does the camera only record when the system is active? Secondly, I have been attempting to create additional user codes for the security system as instructed by the installer. Unfortunately, I am facing issues with setting up alternative codes. I aim to have one master code that I already established during the installation and additional sub-user codes for others to use.

I contacted at least six individuals in an attempt to cancel the service, but I encountered difficulties as I did not receive the correct information. Despite requesting to speak to a manager during five of the calls, I was continuously asked, "How can I assist you?" without receiving the necessary help.
As I did not receive confirmation of the account cancellation via email or verbally, I had no option but to cancel the card to prevent further payments from being processed.
I urge you to promptly cancel the account and issue a refund. Otherwise, I will consider sharing my negative experience on social media regarding the undue charges on an unused account since the property was sold in March [redacted] and the inadequate customer service provided. I repeatedly raised concerns about cancelling the account in July, which were met with resistance. Consequently, I have paid over $[redacted] for an unused service. Please review the account details and call recordings to comprehend the situation better.

This morning, my alarm went off, and it took a few minutes to silence it. I didn't receive any calls or notifications from Ackerman or ADT. The callback option didn't work after pressing (1) as directed. I waited on hold for more than twenty minutes before giving up. This is the second consecutive time I couldn't reach the monitoring center. I want my system fixed. A malfunctioning system can't be the reason I can't reach anyone at the monitoring center twice. Good afternoon, I have a serious complaint regarding my layby at Ackermans Jan Kempdorp. They informed me that due to loadshedding for 2 days, I was unable to collect my children's clothes. I am wondering if the manager can assist me in releasing my clothes if I provide the slip and cash needed. It is disappointing not to have my kids' clothes due to loadshedding. I recently discovered that Ackerman transferred my contract to ADT without informing me beforehand. My commercial alarm system stopped functioning three years ago when I disconnected my home phone. Ackerman did not notify me that the system required either a landline or a cell guard for communication. They could have checked the system before leaving or reviewed records to identify the lack of activity. I am seeking a refund from Ackerman for the inaccurate monitoring charges incurred.
